I may come off (again) as a jerk, but I simply want to point out that corporate money and personal money are not the same thing. Jeff has no more responsibility to pay employee wages out of his pocket than we do. It is the responsibility of the business to pay out of profits.
Now, if Jeff was looting the company of profit and not paying the employees, then this is altogether different and I would then agree with the complaints in this thread. But until someone can show without question that he did indeed 'take the profits', then let's not pass judgement on someone.
Businesses collapsing and taking employee money (wages, bonus, entitlements) down the drain is nothing new in CR or the USA. It sucks, and I am sure we have all been the employee in one of these instances (for me, 3 times).
We do not know why Scores collapsed. We would need inside knowledge of the books to know this, and I don't have that view (nor want it). Let's just focus on the good act that we are engaged in, and not degrade it by bitching about what we perceive as bad action on Jeff's part.
I don't know what happened. All I care about is trying to help out the little people. If you can spare $20, $50, $100 to help these folks out, then give it a thought.
