They do have paypal option available now but i guess they have to lump 4/5 passengers together to make it worthwhile so one may end up spending at least 10-30 mins extra, considering some passengers need to be dropped off on the way.
Has anyone used them recently though?

You can use Paypal there, so don't have to give CC info to the vendor and you also get a small (5%?) discount too. $12 ride each way, costs $11.40 on this site. I have used them a bunch of times.
I used this too, worked fine for my trip to Jaco. Took the regular bus back from Jaco to SJ, arrived at the Coca Cola terminal in the morning, and there were lots of regular taxis available. Felt very safe to me in the daytime. When I arrived in SJ I had the Dunn Inn driver pick me up. He waited for me while I went up into Departures to change money, and pay my departure tax. Everything was smooth and easy.
Used that site to book both my airport shuttles and my trip to and from playa hermosa/jaco. I liked paying with paypal. And had no issues with the transportation they were always right on time and greeted me by name, oddly even saying my last name right which nobody in the states can do. Will use them again for sure[/quote]
Did not see the option to pay via Paypal and I would highly recommend NOT paying thru their website as they want the 3 digit code and with that info it takes little to produce a duplicate copy of your CC. Screw them.

I will take a cab, the bus option is too risky, it just takes one on the ball thief to relieve you of all your money and documents; I am cheap, but security should always trump cheapness.
