Wings were good Bigdan!

The place does have a good atmosphere to me and always enjoy chatting with the lovely Jessica. Read that I said "chat". Don't anyone take this as an excuse to switch to the old bagging a bartender subject.

You should be able to comment without people reading an entire soap opera into your small post. And yes, I have witnessed that Jessica has many fans as many bartenders do. I had several in Atlanta at different places at different times without any thought of 'bagging'. Back in the day, one of them would take calls for me and have messages waiting for me. I'm kind of fond of those days before 'being connected 24/7/365.
I remember Jessica from my first visits to the Blue Marlin. I was a little overwhelmed by it all and she and Cristina spoke fluent English so I landed at their bar between trips up the elevator, as I didn't know what was outside the Del Rey doors and really didn't care. She has quite a few regulars that bring her gifts, buy her lunch, etc. Friends, clients, guest, customers, whatever. I mean that is her business -bartender, listener, 'psychologist', and for some, eye candy

I remember one guy telling me that she gave him the name for his boat.
As far as Chubbs goes, It is different at different times. There is the normal bar flys, expats, and tourist, during the day. At night, well, last night is was about half Ticos and half Gringos,
As I said in a previous post many, some, or at least one, but not every night, this place is beyond occupancy with Ticos at 90% of the tables and a few or many gringos at the bar.
Greg the owner is a nice approachable guy, If you have a suggestion, I have found him to be all ears. I am happy for his success or the appearance of success.
