anyways I understand if you want to keep a clean slate and don't want to lie to current/future girlfriends. I've gotten into those personal discussions in the past with gf's and you don't want to lie, but the truth may hurt her. you have to be vague, or change the subject. It's best to not do things you may regret. but then again you should feel free to have fun however you like., assuming you're not hurting anyone else. some may say you're hurting your own self., which for a young guy is debatable but I know for me, at 42 yrs. of age that argument doesn't hold up.

You can have fun in SJO without doing much p4p and see what happens. Hitting up some college ticas is intriguing but I think if you don't know spanish you're dead in the water. I say go and have as much fun as you dare and most of all tell us about it afterwards.

If i may interject..

I am in my 20's and have been to both Rio and San Jose and had an amazing time in each...had great times with great ladies and also met some good friends. Sex IS just sex, don't overanalyze it, you pay one way or another. I have had girlfriends here in the US, I've had one night stands here in the US, I've had P4P ladies in SJ, Rio, and even a couple when I was over in Germany, and I've hooked up with local girls/travellers at bars in my travels. It is all the same when it comes right down to it, no style of hook up is "better" than the others. As for you guys saying mongering is potentially "too much" for a young guy to handle, I say "why is that so?" I don't believe this to be true at all. I know for a fact I've spent much more money on my girlfriends over the years than I have on a P4P experience.

My passion in life is travelling, I love to travel and I do whenever I get the chance. I am very fortunate to be able to do this. I have travelled to places where there is absolutely NO mongering scene and I have travelled places where there IS a mongering scene, it is not the deciding factor in where I travel...my two cents is if I'm travelling anyway, seeing the sights and decide to have a fun few hours or a night with a lady for a few bucks then Why Not!? It makes the trip even better. Mongering will make you not worry so much about all the stupid crap that happens in relationships back in your home country, you learn to take it with a grain of salt.

Meeting women of other cultures and people of other cultures is one of the best things you can do in life. I feel truly blessed I discovered travelling so early in my life....the experiences I've had, the people I've met, the different viewpoints I've acquired, and the ladies I've been with around the world have made me a well-rounded person and these are the memories I think of the most and cherish the most when I'm going about my everyday life here back in in the States.
