I have met some amazing girls in Costa Rica…..talented, smart, fun-loving, happy girls who are sex workers that pretty much enjoy what they do. It has been an immense pleasure to spend time with them. It’s unfortunate that in North America we can’t experience a similar attitude toward sex workers.

Why can’t prostitution be legalized in the United States?

Is a man who has difficulty with relationships always to be left only with the options of going without sex, breaking the law, or leaving the country for sex?

I blame it on both extreme of our political spectrum. The religious right and the feminist left wing, they need to get together put them in a closed and let them Phuck each other brains out. Or we can just shoot the Phuck out of all of them for a better world.

I guess great minds do think alike--I was reading this link as research for another Thread:
http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/2 ... minalized/

Now decrim is not the same as legalizing but these are 2 serious economists who take a fresh look at all manner of topics. Most LE especially LE management (IACP, etc) would love not to have to use precious resources on this, not at the retail level anyway. Their political lords and masters force them to. Ask any of the fine Brothers here who have LE experience--and get ready for some serious eye-rolling.

....has nothing to do with this message, but I grew up watching to Blaxploitation movies and enjoying their great soundtrax.

Anyway, this is my plan. It combines my disdain for our lax immigration laws, my outrage over the outsourcing of our jobs, my Latin/Asian fever, and my desire to make lots of money.

Prostitution is legal in two counties in Nevada, both of whom are close to Las Vegas.

The H1B Visa program is designed to fill skilled jobs for which there is a shortage of Americans willing to fill. Google Bill Gates testimony to Congress on the issue. He wishes he had an unlimited supply of them....complains he can't get enough Americans to fill his job vacancies and would like to import cheap technical people from all over the world under this program.

Under the H1B program, a business has to prove that they have vacant positions, that they have tried to fill them with Americans, and that there business will suffer if they can't bring in guest workers to fill them. To prove to the INS that they have tried to fill them, they run advertisements. Once the INS agrees, they apply for these visas and recruit abroad.

Here is where people get angry. In New York, they will advertise for, say, a computer programmer. But to make sure nobody applies, they advertise the job for half or even a third of the salary that computer programmers earn in NYC. The INS official - who doesn't know the field - is based in Oklahoma and has no idea how expensive it is to live in New York City. He approves the H1B request. The employer then recruits programmers from Bombay, has his US programmers train him, and then starts laying off his citizen programmers to make room for more Indians.

So, here is what we do. We get a loan from the Small Business Administration. Heck, with the trillions in new economic stimulus package, we could probably get some of THAT money....after all, we employee people and stimulate our customers....

Then, we start building a legal brothel in Nevada. We can cut the time needed to get the license by NOT serving alcohol, thereby, no liquor license.

While we do this, we start running advertisments in the "trade journals" and the internet. "Wanted: Bi-lingual chicas. Must speak and read fluent Spanish or Thai/Tagalog/Korean. Must be under 30, be willing to give BBBJ, good massage, and be height/weight proportionate according to Mutual Of Omaha Insurance company life insurance scale or have body fat percentage no greater than 15%. Must be be at least a "7" out of "10" as detgermined by our board of directors. Must accept their salary in the currency of their country of origin. Etc, etc..."

In other words, the job advertising will be so specific to our legal brothel and the job will pay so little (SJO or Medellin or Angles City or Chang Mai wages) that no Gringa will accept the position. If INS ever asks about it, we maintain that our business model is to differentiate ourselves from the competition by replicating the establishments of Latin America or Asia. If the low salary doesn't serve to eliminate potential applicants, the biligual requirement will. When we can prove to INS that we can't fill our vacancies locally, they will grant us H1B Visas.

With the Visas in hand, we can use them to recruit the finest providers abroad. Imagine approaching your favorita in the Del Rey or New Fantasy. "Baby, how would you like to work in the USA? Legally? 60 days from now? For $50 or $60 an hour, but in a nice environment, with lots of steady work AND benefits?"

We use the H1Bs to bring over the hotest Ticas, Colombianas, Pinays, Thais, you name it. We charge less than the Chicken Ranch or the Mustang Ranch, because our girls are will take less. After all, in one year in our establishment, they are set for life back home. And they are all hoping to meet a future husband who will marry them and allow them to stay in the land of the Big PX.

Imagine if you didn't have to fly to Medellin for a hot session with a C-M-M (Colombian Mattress Monster)? Or to Angeles City for a PSE with a LBFM? And you could do it while at a convention in Las Vegas?

Can anyone spot the flaws in this plan?

Brother Iguana6--Brilliant plan. No apparent flaws and assuming no criminal record by the women and direct flights to Nevada, apparently no laws or regulations broken.
P.S. It was my childhood dream to be a towel-boy in a brothel. Can I work for you? Minimal salary requirement which I'll take in trade and no benefits expected. When can I start?

Current scuttlebutt is that the brothel industry in Nevada is on its' last legs. Also, prostitution is legal in almost every county in Nevada, except Clark County( Las Vegas ), Storey?(Reno) and several others.. It is interesting to note that as the economy is getting worse, more and more ads are appearing on websites like Craigslist offering "anything" for financial help.

What bearing do direct flights to Nevada have on this? An H1B Visa allows entry through any port of entry.

And why would a Doctoral Graduate from Del Rey University accept employment as a mere towel-boy? Surely you could be part of our talent search committee?

The Nevada brothel is on its last legs because it priced itself out of the "give a hoot" ability of the target consumer. Just like the $12 movie ticket, the $15-20k "economy car", the $30-40 baseball game ticket, the $50-70 Disneyworld ticket, and the $4 comic book, the $200-300 session at a Nevada brothel (on top of airfare, hotels, and other costs), the price is so high that it isn't worth the trouble.

Guys don't mind paying 2, possibly 3 times their hourly wages for a PSE or a GFE experience, but they wont pay 10 times their hourly wages. Especially when some of the SW's in those Nevada establishments look like the single mom working the french fry machine at the McDonalds and know all about upselling but nothing about creating the illusion of a memorable experience.

Brother Iguana6--"Direct flights to Nevada" because if you bring them into another state, you might trigger the Mann Act (moving a woman from state-to-state for the purposes of prostitution aka White Slavery). Actually I believe all Visa types have morality clauses that for purposes of fantasy, were glossed over. And that PhD thing is based on the number of posts, not actual experience--and I do like to run my mouth (this post, for example). For Talent Search Co-ordinator, I'd suggest one of the other Brothers--they'd bring KSA's and objectivity I lack. Plus my native humility kicked in (HAH!)

Mann Act? When was the last time somebody got busted for that? 1922?
But, if it is a legal profession, and the plane is just making connections, and the SW never leaves the airport, would it apply? And then there is the problem of jurisdiction. INS is saying "go" and the FBI is saying "no", what prosecutor would pick up the case. Besides, if the Mann act applied, anyone helping a SW move from outside of Nevada to work at the Chicken Ranch could be prosecuted. But, boy o boy, do you get many points for remembering such an obscure law.

"KSA's" Wow, another one. And a civil service reference at that! I can just see what Mikey Styles would put on the proposed list of "knowledges, skills, and abilities". "When you give BBBJ, do remember to do the spiral stroke with your hand and do the swril with your tongue?"

Dang, there isn't a Del Rey University? I when I got out of the service, I was going to use my GI Bil to get an MMA degree (Master of Mongering Arts). ;-}

Pidd makes a good point that prostitution it is not illegal on the federal level. It is the states and counties that seem to restrict sex workers.

But I’m thinking of something a little broader than a few counties in Nevada. Just as Lincoln emancipated the slaves I think it is about time for a strong leader to free the women. All women should have the freedom of choice of what to do with their bodies. If they see a man they like and they want to play with him for free there is nothing wrong with that. Then what is wrong with a woman making a choice about putting a price on the act?

How about a Constitutional amendment that adds this freedom of choice as a basic right? This would establish sex work as a right that could not be restrained by the states. Would this start another Civil War?

I don’t want to travel to Nevada to play. I want an MP in every town large enough to have a pool hall. Yeah! That’s what I’m talking about! And the competition would mean the end of the $500 hooker and give Americans the freedom to choose something that is within their budget. God bless America. Free at last. Free at last.
