I was in a leather and tack shop yesterday, stocking up for my trip. On the board behind the counter was a note that looked somehow familiar. On closer examination, it was a $100c Costa Rican bill. I have never seen one before and I thought it was interesting to find one hanging next to the head stalls in a tack room in Oregon.
Are $100c bills common and I just haven't noticed or is this an anomaly? Are there $500c notes as well?
I have to go by there again before I depart and, if they are hard to come by, I may try to barter this one. I would gladly exchange a $500c coin in great condition...
I just know I could have a ton of laughs paying "
cien" with it!
