I think Phoenix is flying Spirit because the price is right and he probably has accumulated enough miles to fly Spirit all year on ff miles.

IMHO the "Phuck the customer" attitutude that most of the airlines seem to have today is particularly acute at AA. They really don't give a rat's ass how they treat you. You'll be back, or not... they don't seem to care. Guess it's not part of their business model to treat you more than a slab of flesh with a credit card to occupy a seat on the plane.
Going down on Spirit next week....with fingers crossed

If that wasn't a serious post it would certainly qualify as one of the funniest.
I am sure there are airlines who treat you a whole lot better than AA but to say you are going to fly Spirit over AA because of "Phuck the customer attitude" is ludicrous. Spirit has a documented history of absolutely having a corporate philosophy of they get a cheap seat so they get what they paid for. Let them bitch and complain they will be back because we are the cheapest and if they go elsewhere there are others who will put up with us in order to fly on the cheap.
I am happy to provide some unintended amusement for you, ID, but I fail to understand where you make the causal connection between my feelings about AA and the fact that I happened to book this trip on Spirit Air. Have reread my post and can't seem to find it, o wise Irish Drifter. Please explain.
Oh and tell us again where the "funny" part is, if you please? Missin that too. Not only that it's funny, but how it could "qualify as one of the funniest" Just curious.
