Their "power" is limited by what WE grant them.
A lonely man will often make decisions no "content" man ever would.
"What You Won't Do For Love" - Bobby Caldwell
I guess you wonder where I've been
I searched to find a love within
I came back to let you know
Got a thing for you and I can't let go
My friends wonder what is wrong with me
Well I'm in a daze from your love, you see
I came back to let you know
Got a thing for you and I can't let go
Some people go around the world for love
But they may never find what they dream of
What you won't do, do for love
You've tried everything but you don't give up
In my world only you make me do
for love what I would not do
But then I only want the best it's true
They can't believe the things I do for you
What you won't do, do for love
You've tried everything but you don't give up
In my world, only you makes me do
for love what I would not do
Makes me do for love what I would not do
Prostoner,
Thank you for your honesty. It's always good to be reminded from time to time to keep our heads and our hearts on straight when dealing with affairs of the heart, especially with women who don't work in "traditional" jobs.
Personally I've never been a big advocate of the "Phuck five more to get over it" remedy for a broken heart . It might work for some but not me. I've been with lots of women over the years just for sex but none of them healed the wounds left on my heart by the ones I really cared about.
