I discovered a new appliance that will make keeping your nutsack cleanshaven much easier!

Seiko makes a personal shaver that is specifically designed to shave very short hairs. It resembles an oversize salt shaker, uses one "C" battery and sells for around $35.00.

After you have taken the time to shave the boys using other means, the Seiko personal shaver can/should be used daily to keep them smooth.

The process is painless although a bit time-consuming. Shake a little talcum powder on the sack, fire up the shaver and carefully move the shaver head over your scrotum. In about fifteen minutes your sack will be as smooth as silk. It really works and can be done virtually anywhere. I've even used mine for touch-up shaving on my face. There is absolutely no pinching, nicks, or burning. The shave is easy to clean with the included brush, and the shaving filaments never require sharpening.

I hate to start from scratch, and this shaver won't help with very hairy balls...but to maintain a close shave, it can't be beat.

Prolijo, to answer your questions:

1. I've never heard of "Coochie Shave," but my pal Wing Woman uses a product from Aveeno called "Sensitive Shave" which was formulated specifically for genital shaving. I tried it and like it, but it costs nearly 40% more than a similar package of face shaving cream. I use Edge for Sensitive Skin on my face anyway and have found it to be perfectly suitable for genital shaving.

That being said, I have a caveat: Yes, the hair is different between head, face and body. For this reason, never use the same blade for shaving both face and crotch. I always start ball shaving with a brand-new, fresh Mach III Turbo blade, using my normal shave cream.

2. I have almost no belly/chest hair, so I shave the boys, trim the backboard and get my belly/chest/nipples professionally waxed. My wife hates it, because she likes the belly/chest hair I do have. The last time I shaved, I just waxed the nips, shaved the boys, trimmed the backboard, shaved the taint, shaved the penis shaft and left the rest alone. It might look a little odd, but I shave for sensitivity and cleanliness, not for cosmetic reasons. As I'm not a porn star, I'm a bit less concerned with appearance. :)

Well I decided to take the plunge and go bald. I bought one of those Gillette Venus or whatever brand it was, and that worked out nicely. I took my time, applied the shaving gel a few times, and got a nice, close cut.

However, the next day, I noticed I had some decent razor burn. Lots of red bumps, some clustered around my ass! It really looks ugly; looks like a lot of red bumps and little pimples mixed together. I think it's because I shaved both ways in certain parts (shaving with the grain does NOT cut very well, near the crotch or on the face - for me anyhow).

I went to the store today and bought some Bikini Zone razor burn treatment gel. It said I should have visible results in 24 hours. Man, I'm hoping it works because I leave for CR Friday morning, and I don't want the ladies thinking I have STD's or something..

Suggestions:

1. Use hot compresses (hot water, washcloth) applied to the razor burn/ingrown hairs before applying the Bikini Zone treatment.

2. Alternate Bikini Zone product with triple antibiotic ointment to prevent any open pores/sores from becoming infected.

3. Wear loose underwear or no underwear, particularly at home, until you leave.

4. Do not "touch-up shave" before leaving for C.R.

A couple questions:

1. Before beginning the shave, did you trim all the longer hairs with a sharp grooming scissors first?

2. Did you use a hot washcloth applied to your jewels before applying the shaving creme?

Even a new razor meant for shaving pubic hair (Venus) is great, it can't deal with hairs much longer than 1/16"". It is best to trim the hairs as close as you can before shaving. Also, using a hot compress to soften the hair before applying the creme seems to work well.

To prevent cross-grain shaving problems, allow the shaving creme to "set up" for a few minutes before beginning. This will help the hairs stand up and allow you to shave more often with the grain, causing fewer burns/nicks.

Finally, rinse the razor in warm water following each pass. I have found it is necessary to rinse the razor when I shave my crotch even more frequently than when I shave my face.

You shave your ass? Brave, very brave.

Hope this helps.

First of all, I prefer CIP over CIM. I just got back from Cartegena. The first chica I picked out at LDV was pretty hot. We were playing in the bed DFK, DATY etc.. When she pulled my hanes down and observed my clean shaven goob she said " me gusto muy bien" she went down on me like a billy goat on an ear of corn. She was fingering herself like crazy, gota love that spanish lack of inhibition, when I felt my self about to explode I tried to slow her down but she would have none of that, she took a weeks worth of pearl drops and loved it as much as I did.

Someone should open up a Gonad Grooming shop right next to HDR :D . They could have some real cuties grooming away all day charging more for a Good Gonad Groom than a haircut :? .

I tested NADS on my arm first before trying it. NO FRIGGIN WAY would I use it on my balls.

On the other hand a co-workers really, really hot friend that works at a waxing place nearby told me she specializes in waxing guys balls. She was trained and everything. She offered me a discount but I had to pass after a couple of the stories she told me.

First of all I'd like to apologize to all the long time readers for continuing this thread. I figured if I didnt someone else would anyway. Second, thanks to all the informative posters here. I am 38 years old and bald in the nether region for the first time. I wouldn't have had the nerve if it wasn't for all the information in this thread. Information, I believe, I never would have gotten anywhere else. Just the thought of something sharp near my lifeline made me wince in horror  For anyone else thinking of doing it, it turned out to be easier than shaving my face with a razor. Just took a lot longer. I've been using an electric razor most my life as I tend to nick my face with a regular one. Used some sensitive skin shaving lotion and a mach 3 razor. Did it REAL slow and... not a nick or too scary a moment (other than the sharp object next to my livelihood thing.) I was so proud of my accomplishment I decided to shave my 3 day-old beard, with a NEW razor. Wouldn't you know it, knicked myself in a few seconds. I am discovering a whole fresh new world now thanks to the daring pioneers who went before me and lived to tell the tale. Can one of you please send me a Tica, Nica, and Columbiana here to try out the new duds. By the way a little cocoa butter lotion for use after sunburns has helped ease the shock down there of no longer being a caveman.

Hazel,

See, that's the difference between living in Boston and living in Bumblefuck, Minnesota. :( I asked the aesthetician I've used for years to wax me below, and she absolutely refused. I am kinda pissed, because she did a friend of mine...I mean, waxed his bollocks.

Mike3A - Just go slowly on your face, too. I don't even look in the mirror when I shave now, and I haven't been nicked in years. Try shaving without looking; it focuses your concentration. And yeah, I don't look when I shave the scrotum, either.

Ha! Whaddaya know? We've still got useful info coming out of this thread. Good on ya, ya hairy nutted bastards!

Anybody seen any of this Gold Bond stuff in Canada, or is it just a US thing? I'm now an old hand at shaving my nuts, a long way from the rookie I was when I started this thread, thanks to you gentlemen, but it's still a time consuming process. While I'm extremely wary of most depilatory creams around the nuts it would be great if we could find a painless one that actually works.

El Ciego said shaving the ass was brave, but you daredevils who can wax your nuts have earned my undying awe for your bravery.
