I'll never object to any organization attempting to help hookers no matter if the hookers are in CR, Brazil, Africa or in the USA.
Some of you are still saying that the US is trying to outlaw hooking in CR, however THAT IS NOT TRUE and nor is it true that the organizations are moving to making prostitution illegal.
HERE IS THE JUICE IN THE ARTICLE:
Predictably, the effort will involve an international agency, the 55-year-old International Organization for Migration. Also involved is Fundación Rahab, which provides temporary and permanent housing, education and job training to women who leave prostitution.
The name of the program is prevention, protection and attention to persons who are victims of trafficking in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica.
What is wrong with this?
I don't like the situation in the USA regarding women anymore than you guys, but why would anyone object to saving those that truly want rescued?
I admit - very few are victims of trafficking in CR and so let's say there aren't any in CR, but let's say a few hookers want a way out. I'm glad such organizations are around to help them.
Full disclosure (horndog) there is a religous element to this:

I don't see anything wrong with the religious part. If I were a hooker that wanted a way out, I wouldn't care where the help originates. Besides, the Catholic Church is strong in CR and some on here have talk about hooker going to church on Sunday. It isn't as if they have to be brainwashed - more people accept God and religion in CA than even the USA.

If you read it, you'll see that trafficking is an issue in Costa Rica as well the world so while you complain about CR, CR isn't an isolated case, this is something that is of issue worldwide.

THIS ARTICLE IS BIGGER THAN COSTA RICA - the same article could have been written for any country in the world.
