Sheeeeeeeeeit !!! Went to a surprise b-day party Saturday nite for my cousin and a bunch of his wife's friends were there...it looked like a "feed lot" for cattle. There would have been very few that would have "dressed out" at less than 250 lbs

As compared to the above countries, American women are far more educated and independent so take your pick. Just 2 years ago, I lived with a 26 year old latina and she flat out refused to work (said her culture was geared for her to be in the home though she only had one 8 year old K*D), for me, there isn't any pu*sy in the world worth so much that I'll support her every want and need.

I was at a baby shower over the weekend - all Brazilians (really). But they were American Brazilians so no different than white gringas. Nearly all of them were over wgt and in all other ways the same as white gringas.

My Brazilian female friend told me about her Brazilian friend here in America trying to get pregnant even though she has only known the guy she is dating for 7 months and isn't married to him and doesn't care if the relationship works out. She says she want to be a mom even if the relationship doesn't work - what is the chances that she will bone him for Ch*ld support even though she is the one that wants the baby and doesn't care if the relationship works?

Latinas and the rest of the world's women aren't any different than gringas if given the chance so none of them are anymore special than the rest.

Oh, and my friend's sister, she is 43 and she's had her tummy tuck, her face lift and her teeth veneered and all the while keeps eating and smoking.

Look at the reasons Gringas are the way they are. Just pick a couple of items: Abortion for instance: What are we at about 40 million dead Babi*s and counting, you don't really don't have to worry about the unintended effects of sleeping around if you can have the baby vacuumed out of you if things go wrong. Or divorce or Ch*ld care, or aid to dependant mothers, pick any of more than a dozen changes in society that have "eman-cipated" these beauties and trace that back to why the gringas are the way they are and why society in the States is headed to where it is headed. Of course, my standard disclaimer still applies.

Anyway, I agree with that comment in general. If not all, most Latinas can be westernized given the right time and environment. That's the big reason why we keep our novias where we find them.

See this is where the U.S. culutre is screw up. I don't know if the Brizilian was first genertion or second generation in the U.S. If they are second generation then lets call them Gringas because they truely don't know what the latin culture is about. Second My wife a Tica has a well paying job and has a masters degree from CR and is working on her PHD. After she finishes we want to move back to CR and start a family and rais them there.
I truely belive that the culture and thinking is different in latin countrys and the majority of women would treat the men a lot better than the majority of gringas. The womens right crap in the U.S. is not the same thought as women of rights in CR. Women in CR love to use their god given gifts and not to try the power crap like in the U.S.
Yes you will find over weight latinas all over the world but when you talk about latinas in the U.S. you have to ask A how long have they been in the U.S. and B are they really Latinas. Just because your mom and dad or your grandma or grandpa were dosent mean you grew up the latina culture.

Not all latinas become gringatized, find one (or more) in your fair city...

This is because many aren't college educated or even fully HS educated and so are more dependent on men and as for the culture being different, they are basically taught to be dependent on a man (sometimes several men at once - shocking!). More dependent means having little choice but to put up with nearly anything a man dishes out. This is what men in the USA miss, the gringas now have the education and the job and thus the money to say shape up or one of us will be shipping out. Those days are over so get over it (not speaking directly to you Ticoyo). Gringa/Latina/etc. are out there waiting, but there aren't any who are 24 waiting on a fat old guy to pay them any attention. If you are fat and old - expect to be with a fat and old woman if you are hunting in the USA, England, France, Germany, Australian, Canada, Ireland, and the list goes on and on and on.

And yes, there are some gems here in the USA (latina, gringas, filipina, chineta), for sure there are, but take notice that RHM screwed a 40 year old, not a 23 year old so the game isn't the same and no one should expect it to be the same. "Where ever you are, there you are."

In Costa Rica education is dirt cheap and as comperable to the U.S. My wifes credits all transferd to the U of M from the CR U. They might not have jobs but that is because of the size of the country and too many young ticos have high education.
Myth ticas have to be dependent on Ticos because they are not educated is false. My wifes friends in CR which are highly educated, one is a writer for a major news paper in the economic department and is a 10 by most standards. How ever she has a problem dating ticos because they are atimidated about her education. The problem is most ticas are highly educated and most ticos do not like this because the ticas have somthing on them. The latina culture is different from the U.S. becaues they accept the macho behavior for the sake of the family. The family comes first and too keep the family together is the most important thing to ticas, not because they have to stay with the Tico for the money because in CR the women can go for Ch*ld support just like in the states. CR is getting very tough on Ch*ld support and if you are behind they will send a police to your office to pick you up. I know this because of my brother in-laws!
The problem here guys is we view CR and compare it like the U.S. we cant understand why a women would not stick it to the man if he cheats on her. Gringas want to say that the Tica is weak and not strong enough to walk away from the cheating man. They cant see that the Tica is keeping the family together for the sake of the family.
Even with the advancement of women rights in CR and becoming more and more stonger every year most ticas don't view women rights like the Gringa. Ticas still like to dress incredible even when they go to work, They will even go out to dinner with the boss if she likes them, They like to flirt with the Tico to get their way instead of pushing dominant controling behavior.
I know many Gringos will differ on these issues but it is because Gringas have changed the playing fields in the U.S. so much that many gringos don't know how good it is in the dateing in the rest of the world.
