Hey Dickie,
Welcome to the board. There's a lot of night life in Tamarindo. Several local bars, and a couple casinos. It's more of a "surfer" type town, but there's some action to be found. But you'll be competing with a lot of young, studly surfers.
If you have a rental car, drive 20 minutes North to Playa Flamingo. You'll find chica's there, in a bar called "AMBERES". Not the greatest selection, but there's always a few hotties. If you don't see anything, just ask for Hubert. He's the owner (from Belgium). He'll pick up the phone, and you'll have plenty of chicas within an hour. Especially if he sees you playing in his casino. He takes care of the gamblers!
As Zebra has pointed out, use the SEARCH function. There's plenty of info on the Tamarindo & Flamingo scene.
Have fun, and try to keep your boys in check. Don't need more "ugly americans" in town!
