Due to lack of attendence the last several weeks,it appears that they are for the most part finished. I spoke to Grahem,the casino mgr. last night when LV Steve and I were the only attendees,and he said that he may try them on a less frequent basis. (perhaps once every 3 months) So I recommend that anyone who is interested,call first to see if they are running one.

Rest in peace, Blackjack tournement. It was fun while it lasted. For a while there, VB, Thorston, Graham, Bill from Sportsman, Erik, Alfonzo,Handy,myself and others had a rolicking good time on Saturday nights. Hell, there was even a Del Rey Deb that used to join us and she won a couple of times too.
I think the Saturday night event was pretty much over when they took out the free buffet which wasen't great but people liked and they showed up. I will miss this little group but I'm sure we'll all re-assemble at the quartley meetings.
