Howdy gents,

As I prepare for my trip in late August, I'm trying to assemble a small but impressive collection of sex toys/vibes/dildos/titty tinglers/condoms, notions and lotions.

Where do you experts of all things vaginal purchase such items? I live in a small town, and the nearest Sex Toys R' Us is many miles away. Internet ordering is my only real option.

Please recommend only places with good prices. The Xandria Collection/Lawrence Research, Adam & Eve, and Intimate Treasures are all way overpriced; the Xandria Collection's most recent online catalog listed a vibrator for $59.00 that I've often seen elsewhere for $9.99.

If I wanted an undiscriminating list of vendors, I could just google it. No, I am looking for personal recommendations of companies with whom you've done good business. Thanks in advance.

Myrivers, you can buy them in San Jose. Mall San Pedro has a shop on the first floor. Go in the main entrance, veer off to the right and take that aisleway all the way to the back of the mall. As you are walking down that aisle you will pass by a Tommy Hilfiger store. Keep going til the end and you will walk right into the store. Forgot the name. Once inside, hang a quick left and there is a seperate yet "special" room that sells all sorts of toys.

Actually, the info on the sex toy shop in the mall is great news, although I have trouble shopping in a normal retail store for sex toys. It's not shyness, it's kind of a blind thing.

I really like the sound of that Silver Bullet that TP mentions above. Small and super powerful vibes are hard to find; I thought the Doc Johnson "Pocket Rocket" was even a little too big. Now, if we're talking dildos or penis-shaped vibes, bigger can often be better... but something that one can carry into a ZB session or nightclub is another matter.

For those in another part of town, there's a sex toy store (called the Toy Store) on the service road to Escazu that runs along the railroad tracks about 400 mtrs. west of the Sabana McDonalds.
