This is an internet website. Regardless of how many "friends" you've made in Costa Rica and on CRT, THERE ARE NO SECRETS ON THE INTERNET!

Maybe it's all the briefings I had in the military (I had a TS/SCI security clearance) but I've learned to TRUST NO ONE!

As they always told us, "The 3rd man is always listening". In other words, if you don't want someone special to find out what you're doing DON'T BROADCAST IT TO THE WORLD!

Most guys are your friend when you meet them but can you really trust them? Each and every one of them? There will always be someone somewhere who will spill their guts for their own gain.

My good friends GetRhythm and Ruffnutz have enjoyed the celebrity and notoriety they've achieved by posting their adventures and exploits on CRT but now it's coming back to haunt them.

If you're going to live your life in the spotlight you're going to pay for it one way or another. Look at all the pond scum who make a living out of following celebrities around to catch them doing something that will sell magazines.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure both of these guys knew better but hindsight is 20/20 and we've all done things we wish we hadn't after we look back on them.

Tell your stories but make sure you consider the ramifications of them. Change the names to protect the guilty and don't broadcast your personal life if you don't want it to smack you in the face later.

But that's just my opinion.

You DO have a point, and it's very true that with getting more and more known, you wind up haveing less and less privacy in the process... But I hope you understand that this has nothing to do with my past... I have been open and honest about it all and she is accepting of that, so long as it STAYS in my past... The issue here is about this guy slandering me maliciously and saying falsities regarding my postings of her on this board to serve his own agenda.

For the record, she didn't believe him and saw right through his bullshit, but it still bothered and upset her, and thus infuriates me.

By the way... Many of you were right... He IS someone I supposedly know, but I haven't gotten his name yet, but my lady friend told me that I definitely know him and have said hi to him and chatted with him on past trips to CR. For the life of me, by description alone I can't figure out who he is. According to her, he was around during the Sexy Bitches Poker Tourney during Thanksgiving weekend. But the fact that he is a quote-unquote acquaintance of mine makes this just that much more disturbing... I really do wish to know who this "friend and CRT Brother" of ours is...

Someone please help me out, I'm DYING to find out who this 'gentleman' is... He was in CR last week, and though he wasn't staying at the SL, he most definitely hung out there on occasion. He's a gringo, in his 40's, thick guy with a gut, dark short straight hair... I think it's time someone helped me out with a name...

First of all, I wonder if we're all talking about the same woman. Out of respect to Ruff's privacy, I will also refrain from naming her or giving other identifying details, but I can assure you... I met her last September and hugged her briefly. I'm blind, but the squeeze test told me that this lady isn't fat, as you described.

Secondly, you stated that the woman in question would screw anyone for money. Here we're certainly talking about a different woman. Ruffnutz' special friend is not in the business.

Third, Regardless of what you believe to be fact, was the harsh opinion of the lady really necessary, considering that a fellow CRT brother was feeling badly about someone trying to mess up his relationship?

My humble suggestion to you is to try and be a brother here, and show a little gentlemanly class.

You only know RBC? Well, so do I...and if he would even have one drink with you, you're probably okay, because RBC doesn't waste any time on losers. So, I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt and welcome you into what is a growing circle of good friends. You might wish to either back your "facts" up, or at least PM Ruffnutz with an apology for dissing his girlfriend.

That's the way things are done between gentleman sir. You are a gentleman, so do the right thing.

This is the last I post on this... I know the guy's name already, so this thread should die after this post.

Out of respect for privacy, I will not post his name on the forum... plus doing something like that solves nothing.

I did not intend to make this thread turn out into a support group or a witch hunt, though I AM humbled by the kindness extended to me by all my buddies though.. THANKS BITCHES!

HOWEVER, My intent was to find out a name, send a message directly to him (I know he participates on board) and to present a cautionary tale for others to learn from.

All tasks are accomplished, so again, this thread has served it's purpose.

I'm sure I'll run into him on a future trip. My intent is to order two beers and kindly allow him to explain himself while we drink. If the conversation becomes extended, I may even order a round of jager-bombs. Hopefully he will pick up the tab.

Good class way to handle it. As odd as it may sound this guy may have done you a big favor only time will tell? I am sure who ever it was did not mean this as a help too you but in the world of as THE TICA TURNS it will simply be what it was meant to be. Good to see you found what you were looking for.
