I think one of the biggest problems is that gringos fall in love with these hot little chicas on their first visit and somewhere along the way they forget that it's usually better to get to know someone before considering getting married.

I'm willing to bet if you lived in Costa Rica and hooked up with a working girl, got to know her over time, have her move into your place after a few months, that it can work out. YOu also would have to be able to speak spanish so you can commuicate. Like any other marriage, down the line it may not work.

I think a lot of gringos flash too much cash in front of the chicas. Go ahead and flash the cash in front of the gringas... you will get the same results.

For me ... It would be less than a 1% chance with ANY gringa. I have a better understanding of latinas and a definate attraction. Neither exists with the pigs here in the states. It amazes me that anyone can stay married to one for even a month.

The odds are just plain HORRIBLE!! It really is strange how men's minds turn into silly putty when they start screwing some cute young Chica that pays attention to them & these Chicas BANK on all this about these men. No matter what we say & prove to most men they will continue it appears to try to defy against all odds?? I bet a lot of these guys that marry & sure enough get divorced start to think maybe gringas weren't all that bad. If you keep the ball in your court like VB does it is truly a great game.

Most are probably so hurt with all of it they have little desire to post or even talk about it.

If anyone wants to marry a Latina you will increase you odds by having it be a normal type of situation where things are in a reasonable boundary & in the realm of reality & even then it may not be easy. I am like Handy many of these men maybe little better than their Puta counterpart so when it is like this there really is NO HOPE of it working for long.

I have posted & beaten my keyboard to death on this but I do know of many very good marriages that have worked & it is because it was all put together in the right context of normalcy.

It is easy to see how an inexperience Gringo can fall so fast for all this when they see those big puppy love eyes of a Latina verse jumping the bitchy hoops of a normal gringa. They just aren't prepared for this but logic dictates to me you test the deeper waters before one signs papers. Remember these papers are going to work against you the rest of your life! For me I can not understand why anyone would be in a rush on a big decision like this. Why not at least monger for a few years & date some regulars that don't know much of anything about the gulch to get a complete feel for the whole game. This will let you see so much more about what is really best for you I would think & believe me there is an endless line of good Latinas you will fall in love with if that is for you.

Thanks for the responses guys. Keep in mind that I wrote VISIT. Not the M word. I think, after so much good times and some bad times, doing Key West and Miami and New York City with my Nica would be a lot of fun.
After all, didn't one of our guys take a 19 yo to his 50th high school reunion? Seems like good clean fun to me.
OBTW, my best friend has strict instuctions to put a bullet in my head if/when I would walk down the aisle.

In response to my friend Scuba's explanation that he merely wants to bring her to the States to have some fun showing her what his life is like there as opposed to the "M" word. Remember that the chica you are bringing there,like most chicas here in CR, has never been exposed to what we consider a middle class life there. To her it will be wealth beyond her belief. Working chicas here in CR are used to,and very accomplished at hustling. Therefore I think that bringing her to the States "just for fun" is like bringing a bank robber into a bank vault and having everyone else leave for the day. It's like locking up a reformed coke addict in a cell with a weeks supply of drugs. It's like forcing a sex addict (or alcoholic for that matter) to stay at the DR for two weeks straight without leaving. Do you get my point? Seriously,do you think it's a good idea to flaunt what she will consider a very affluent life,in front of her and then tell her to GO HOME NOW to your barely livable conditions. (especially since she could have expectations since you have spent 150 TLNs with her)

Guess he could be dangling the carrot in front of her to show her what could be but she may get the big idea that he will not return to the USA with her & after seeing all this start looking for another Gringo that will?? Wow, are you kidding me?? I am 42 and had a "regular" 18 yo girl in Peru last year, travelled with her for a few days. It was all cool there, and if I lived in Peru (or maybe CR or certainly Colombia from what I understand) I could keep a much younger girl for a long-term relation and it would be accepted.

But, especially since I am not a rock star or famous actor, I could never imagine being with such a young girl here in the US and dealing with (and deal with her having to deal with) the funny looks and attitudes of family and friends, let alone ex-classmates, on seeing us together. Would be that much worse for a guy in his late 60's.

I don't know if this is OT (maybe we're even hijacking the thread!), but as you people are talking about chicas coming to USA to visit, I want to ask a question: do you know that there are BM chicas coming to Las Vegas to "work" the Casinos? I was told of one who made $7000 in a week. Yes sir, they already know how much we pay for pu*sy in USA!

They got a visitor's visa in the US Embassy in CR. Check your PM.

Good points, but I don't think that A hasn't seen luxury in CR. I've seen the pics of her on pretty big boats and in nicer homes than I could afford.
I think for her, the US would be a nice place to visit- but not live. It may be a dream, but living here with no car, no language skills, no education, , no culture, no friends, no family, no yob or the possibility of getting one, the possibility of jail doing what she knows how to do, ect.
I think the stress of our everyday life here would not be fun for someone of similar backround.
I think this way because I know that I am not in the market for any dependants. This train to good times has room for only one passenger.

I wonder how all the immigrants who came to this country without a sponsor managed to make it and stay for generations without knowing the language, the culture, no education, no friends, no family, no car... I wonder how they were able to suceed in this country?

My question is this; You bring a girl to the US on a 90 day finance visa. everything is great for 30 days or so. Over the next 30 days she becomes a little more comfortable and then you come home from work and she's moved out and gone. She leaves a note saying I'm sorry, etc. etc. but no information about where she is. I'm gonna feel like sh*t for a few days, but I know another trip to CR will cure me of that. I call the GOVT. and say I don't know where she is or how to find her. Are they going to fine me a certain amount of money or require me to pay a monthly fee for a period of time? I've had enough women come and go in my life that I can handle her rejection, I am just concerned about the financial aspect.
