As much as we might think that Mas Chica's statement was embarrassingly insensitive I do not think we should make the leap forward that he was the person who started the whole thing.

I think the snake will be crawling back to his hole rather than post on this thread.

This could be true but I have found that lowlife loosers like this will also jump into the mix either acting like a true friend or just throwing out childish comments to make the situation seem less than what it is. There is no true way to tell who it is without an eyewitness.

I don't want to take this back off topic since there are lots of insightful comments being made, however I would like to clarify my earlier post or at least how it was interpreted. First my comments:
Prolijo wrote:
I remember the old board which degenerated into a lot of flaming, backstabbing and bitter feelings. Nothing like that has happened here, but this board started out as something much above that. A place where everyone acted civilly with each other both on the board and off, regarded and treated the women with the basic dignity and respect they deserve as human beings and where there was a real sense of community. In short something that made us special and a cut above other similar boards. As we've grown larger, while we still have much of that by most of the active members, a peice of that has definitely been lost. Its unfortunate, but its also somewhat inevitable as the board has grown.

And Admin1's reaction:
Admin1 wrote:
Prolijo:
Although you make some good points I have to disagree with you. Although we have lost some of the close camaraderie that existed when there were only 30 active members from way back when, I don’t think that considering the growth amount of members now that we have now we have done a bad job at all.
....
I believe that many of our members or shall I say the majority of members still conduct themselves with class & dignity. It’s demonstrated at our various events; get together, happy hours, as well as the willingness of the older veterans to assist the new blood with even the most mundane of questions

You'll notice I never said I thought you were doing a bad job (or even meant to suggest that). Quite the contrary, this board would never have grown as large and as quickly as it has if you hadn't been doing something very right. Looking at other boards in comparison further attest to that. CRS had been around longer than this site and had not grown nearly as large and active before it was allowed to implode by its Admin. IMHO, the guys on this board in general even to this day display more class ("whorticulture") than do those on most other similar "monger" boards. For example, it has gotten to the point on WSG where I've had to set my browser to ignore post by one character who not only insists on posting disgusting shots of skanky street ho's who he's spunked in the face, but who actually thinks he's created some new art form and has named his manuever for pinning down their arms before coming on them. I've seen some worrisome posts here by a few guys who have somewhat cavalier attitudes about photo posting policies but nothing nearly as bad as that.

The other important point raised by ALL of us is that a lot of the changes here that I'm concerned about are not the result of anything Admin1 did or didn't do but were just an inevitable part of growth. I'll go further and say that the Admin and various members have done much to ameliorate the possible negative effects of this inevitable growth by various means including the hosting of group events both in CR and back at home in various US cities, on-line raffles and contests. Few if any other boards have ANYTHING like that. In other ways increased size, resources and market clout have brought real benefits such as more and better group discounts, a more advanced photo gallery and a wider range of views expressed in the posts themselves.

I'll also agree that the majority of the members who post on-line or share drinks with other members in CR behave with the level of class and dignity we would expect of a CRTer. But as I pointed out the real majority of the members are guys who never post or post so little that we know little if anything about them (nearly 90% by my estimate). Some of those lurkers may introduce themselves when they get down to CR, but most we may never meet. Zippy is an active poster (and I'm sure one of the classy guys) and few if anyone has even met him (and based on RN's recent experience maybe not for such bad reasons). How many others are there we don't really know and how can we assume they share the same principles as the more active members? If someone just pays his dues so he can extract info from the site without giving back anything more than his dollars or else does so just to make back his dues in discounts, can we really call him part of the "brotherhood"? I suspect that particular demographic is much closer to that of WSG's membership than it is to what we consider our code. I paid for a VIP membership here before there were any discounts and I did so to support the brotherhood and the community. Guys who may have never paid for a membership but contribute in the form of info and humor (e.g. Circus) I consider much more a part of the brotherhood.

Clearly someone here acted inappropriately in this case and this wasn't the first time something like this has happened. I don't think it was anyone posting in this thread or elsewhere regularly on this board or probably even a guy we've shared drinks with in CR (or at least thats certainly my hope). I strongly suspect the "snake among us" is part of that 90% silent majority and that there is no really good way to root him out. He's not about to come out of the woodwork now and say "Hey, it was me"

Alright, enough already with Proligo's damned chatter. I confess. It was me. Can you guys ever forgive me? More importantly, will he just shut up already.

Well this was sure an insightful #18th post since Sep. 2003?? :? With members like this we should be quit pleased some of us have some chatter to us?? This board seems to follow generally what I have come to accept about life. Too many people want to use others at that person’s expense without contributing much if anything at all. There seems to be little reason for us not to be honest & to help each other here especially if no one really knows us to truly try to cause us trouble.

Too many Humans too me are too full of hate, greed & petty jealousies (the basic result of ignorance & lack of depth) to ever have more than a handful you can really trust. The way I see so many people work is they are very primitive fighting over an old bone they really don't even have a use for just so you can not use it. If they see someone having more fun or advancing ahead of them they can't stand it & simply want to pull him back into the quagmire they exist in. On the other side of many is once they come into contact with someone that has made it big they suck up to them in what I see as a very repulsive fake way & under neath is this jealous anger so many hold of why him not me. I myself like to see people happy & do well in our short life span but maybe that is because it never took much for me to be happy & I saw early in life that all those big material goods so many dream of are the big heavy concrete shoes they are wearing.

If you find fellow humans that have advanced beyond our basic human traits you can have a great friend & both enjoy the true rewards that come from true integrity that forms above & beyond the norm of our simple existence but both parties have to up hold their end & not be abusive to keep the delicate balance together but the reward is worth it so most that truly understand the benefits it is easy for them to do this.

Maybe our little CLUB HOUSE is confirming my own fears about our fellow man & the club house effect has a tendency to make us feel like we can trust others more than we should. This thread along with several others have proved my points at least to myself & is why I will remain anonymous even though I have enjoyed the company of many on this board over a beer.

This is why I live a very quite private life & just observe & enjoy in my own way but I never try to cause mindless harm or injury to anyone as to what purpose does it truly serve. I still like the age of make Love NOT WAR when it is truly possible & when you look back at our recent history that was a truly creative time where the human spirit showed off what it was capable of, just look at the music that was created compared to the negative stuff we see today.

Sorry I just felt like CHATTERING SOME!

PS One saying that has always proven worth while to me in this life is walk quitely & carry a BIG STICK (in the gulch maybe BIG DICK is better??). This has worked very well for me.

To The Man,

Aside from the fact that you now claim to have tried to assassinate a fellow CRT member and then offfered less than a half-assed apology, why did you choose that particular moment to also rip on Prolijo? :? I mean, everyone has read far wordier posts from him in the past.
:P to Prolijo...
Personally, I enjoy and learn from Prolijo's posts and read every word carefully.

I always gain valuable information from these guys, even though I enjoy disagreements with some of them.
I don't consider my own posts to be all that valuable, but I try to contribute as I can, because I owe much to guys like Mucho Gusto, Zippy, Irish Dong...er, sorry....Drifter, Prolijo, Tman, Vegas Bob, Ruffnutz, GR and the other three dozen guys on here who try (and usually succeed) to bring good content to this forum.

Mr. "The Man," I can only ask with sympathy. What's the matter, friend? Did a gringo berate your income/home/car/sexual performance? Did you just lose a job, your dog, a loved one, a sum of cash? Whatever it is, I sincerely hope that you feel better very soon. I'll be praying for you, believe it.

G.G., Dave, El Lamero, RBC100, ID, Pro, Orange, VB, DG, Ruff, GR, Muff, Sparky and all the rest, please continue to educate me.

I live to read this stuff. :D

Well if this isn't more sneaky PETE?? Many games out & about & always will be so admin1 if I get a second handle like THE WOMAN will you turn me over to the other members also??  :P :? Does Prolijo have 6000 other handles & this membership issue on the #s is totally skewed & this is why we see so few of votes on every poll that is put up which virtually renters them meaningless too me. Oh PANDORA's box has many dark & sometimes hairy sides?

Uh guys...

April Fool's Day was yesterday.

Hey, I want an alternate handle too! Somebody help me set up a poll to test market the following alternate handles:

1. Deaf Boy Slim
2. Ciego the Younger
3. Ding Drifter
4. Mikey-B
5. Helen Killer (spelling intentional)

What do you guys think? Votes please, and Admin, I'll be PMing you with access specifications. :P

Phookers....

El Ciego,

I like Irish Dong better for you & I like the story that Prolijo told about the SPUNKY guy on the other board. I need to learn that HINDLICK maneuver that guy has invented where he pins their arms down & creates that spunky artwork of his that is why I have been thinking about my second handle of SPUNKMIESTER! :P You like it? :? APRIL 2nd right? Maybe they set their clocks too far back?? Sometimes being too clever just has a way of cumming all over itself & making a BIG STICKY MESS? :? :)

The moral of this whole story is this. I think like a criminal. I never mention anything to anyone that can bite me in the ass. Sorry that it has to be like this. Never met Ruff, but he is definitely a gentleman and sorry we had to learn this at his expense. And I would even stress even more if there are real feelings involved, don't mention it here. For Ruff, I hope in the long run that the girl involved ( I don't even know who we are talking about and don't care to ) will realize you are a good, honest person and you will be able to work it out face to face. Buena suerte.

If in fact you meant to write this post, who the ph*ck are you kidding??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

Overweight??? Are you that ph*cking BLIND????

RN's lady is a very intelligent, sweet, personable, classy, and very attractive young woman who apparently at one time or another did not listen nor fall for your BS. And for $$$ she WILL NOT do anyone. Especially an asshole like you!

And where in hell do you get the notion that she was never RNs girlfriend?
I've had very pleasant conversations with her and she has never spoken ill about RN.

You better get you act together Pal... and go get your eyes checked out!

I'm sorry. I know that was a little troll-ish  but the April Fool's Day period got the better of me and I just couldn't resist. For those that weren't in on that private joke, Admin1 didn't really rat me out as it was really more of an open secret. "The MAN" is a reference to a dark part of this board's PRE-history. Maybe one of our vets will fill you in on the long version of the story some time over a few Imperials at the BM. It's an interesting and amusing tale that's best not brought back up here.

To Zippy and El C, I thought you guys were already in on it but I'm honored that you both rose to my defense anyway. And to Zip, no, I don't have any other handles. I did try to log in once under the handle Panama Daisy but Admin1 wouldn't allow it. What can I say, sometimes I like to cause a little trouble but its all meant in good fun and not the serious type of trouble that was caused to our friend RN. BTW, Spunkmeister is all yours. El C, I'd go with Ciego the Younger. I'm sorry but Deaf Boy Slim is just wishful thinking on your part :P while El Ciego Joven lets everyone know its just an alter-ego.

Well thanks for the clarifications & it is all in fun. :P I really don't even care to hear about the dark days of the old board since I rather not see this board with that type of an infection. I know I am dreaming but I wish men that leave a country like the USA because they have found a better sand box to play in would have sense enough to leave their ugly idiotic petty ways behind us in our pasts & start with a clean slate & monger on to some form of higher ground without afflicting others with undo problems. How could this be so hard??? Some people will never learn & what they don't seem to understand is they hurt themselves as much or more than anyone else after all it is rather difficult for them to get very far from themself!

Geez Ruff - first I lead you out of the Del Rey wilderness and into the land of alternate debaucheries at Kamur, ZB, Oasis, etc., then I lead you into Mman land and the deeper rewards of a loving, non-PFP relationship with a beautiful and sweet regular Tica, and now - no less than a week after I made a similar proclamation - you announce your withdrawal from the board? What AM I to do with you???

Actually, when I made my announcement I was serious - but I promised Ruff I would respond here - so here is my slightly belated answer. Yes, as Prolijo, Zippy and others have already stated on this thread (and as I myself have warned Hand-Solo in a previous thread), there is simply too much risk involved in commenting on any aspects of your relationship in a public forum. Moreover, it isn't fair to the person you're involved with either. In the future, I will definitely refrain from doing so.
