Maybe, just maybe, there is more to the story. The recent and now deleted GR post was pretty graphic so maybe his girl got wind of his post and then this a-hole feeds a load of crap to RN's girl and with 2 girls in the SL hearing stuff about posts - she might be relucant to believe that bad stuff wasn't written. Just a thought.

Why can't people leave well enough alone, An experienced board member, who a lot of know and respect should not have to be dealing with these issues, there are too many bad eggs around ruining around causing problems for us.

I am a fairly private person and in the past have been extremely careful who I share information with and this just justify's that for me.

This guy is definitely a CRT member and you have probably met him in the past. And you know what? He has probably stayed at the SL. This is what I would do...

Again, ask you girl who the guy is and talk to the owner (name escapes me) and see if you can have that son-of-a-bitch banned from the SL. And most importantly, out the prick.

I could of done that to someone else, but I didn't/won't. Example, I was down in CR in Feb and had a great time with a Dominican, now she won't she me, becuase some other guy has bought her out of the market, and she belives if he see her in KL or BM or anyone in CR with another gringo, there goes her support lifeline.... and she really wants out of that line of work.......

So I coulda been pissed, but I said to myself, ok, just go back in there and grab another. Plus I really have wanted to try the Columbia's, I just have not had the patience to break down that barrier they have... I look at this as an opportunity for something new!!

Ruff, I would ask that you rethink the whole idea. I say this because I once was in your shoes on ISOC back in April of last year. I had a very good friend one whom I had know for over a year and was destroyed by one bad apple. To this day I do not talk with the girl however her sister and I are still friends, and hope on my return to the Dom Rep we will fix her broken heart. She was told I talked about here called her all kinds of things and posted nude pics of her that to this day have only been in my private collection. Her sister and her brother both know I would never do anything to hurt her and has since talked for me to try to help. It will take time however I know we will one day be friends again. As will as in time the asswhole that created the problem was founded out. So I say dont let something like this make you turn your back on your brothers. You are a CRT gent in both good and Bad times my friend. This is more than a site its a brotherhood of friends, and you dont turn your back on friends this is the time you stand firm. I can't believe that I am about to give unsolicited advice to an MMan about how to save his relationship but here goes. My guess is that if you just talk to her face to face you will convince her as to who is lying. She knows what you "used to do" and you were honest with her. She should also believe you as to what you do know in CR. If she wants to believe some asshole with an agenda at the bar of the SL instead of you then there is another underlying problem. You should also ask her who he is.I'm sure she can give you some help in discovering who he is. However instead of beating the shit out of him and potentially getting yourself in even more trouble,I would ask the Admin to bar him from this site. As a final gesture to her, I wouldn't be opposed to you copying all of your posts for the last 6 months (yours ONLY) and letting her read everything you have written. If all of the above fails,then it wasn't meant to be.There is probably another issue.

This is just an opinion. Not being sarcastic or writing with bad intent, but I've wondered about several situations that I've seen on the board over time. Whether it is a working girl or not, when you meet a chica in this atmosphere and then develop feelings and want a relationship, get out of the gulch locations, bars, mentality, everything. Not saying it applies exactly to this situation as the young lady works the front desk of a semi monger hotel. What I'm saying is that if tomorrow I meet some chica that I want to have something with, we are not going to the DR, KL, Monkey Bar or any of the gulch places. And although I might say I'm seeing someone, I think like a criminal, the more people that know something the more likelihood of trouble. I would really suggest that in the future we all be careful what we write. It's only gonna get worse as numbers get bigger. That is uncontrollable. The mongering world and the relationship world, in my opinion, can not exist together. Even when I take a chica for a TLN, I immediately get out of the gulch. Don't see any need to spend time there once I've found what I wanted.

In this situation, I think VB is right. If you look her in the eye and she doesn't believe what you are telling her, then that is a problem. I'm assuming you aren't down here right now, so I can imagine this is much harder to deal with over the phone and in emails.

I agree. The bottomline is that the SL is just like any other bar; full of gossip. Since customers go there for mongering, a lot of the gossip involves sex and some of it is probably BS. Not worth getting too upset about. Of course, this is just my opinion.....
