I know we had one of these a while ago, but that was a while ago, and as what's hot changes so quickly...

What are the chicas listening to these days? what's hot and popular? Actual titles/aritsts would be appreciated, as opposed to saying "they really like reggaeton" or some such.

I don't know much about the new music, but I must say, whenever I'm in San Jose, in the various restaurants, bars, etc., I usually hear some of the best American classic oldies from the 70s and 80s, even more than when I'm in the U.S.

I get a chuckle out of some of the chicas who can't speak English, struggling to sing along with these classic American songs that I'm sure they so often hear over and over.

Sounds like they have the radio tuned to Radio Dos 99.5FM

ID......I think you're right. I do recall seeing FM tuners tuned to that station. It's a good station. Now that I think about it, I have wondered how they make any money cause it seems there is so few commercial breaks...................Zebra

I notice that most ticas are in to altternative and rock. Like Linkin Park and Korn and even some older stuff. But the dominicans and the colombians are into reggaeton, R&B, and very little rock. Nicas have been very mixed.

Many of the Colombianas like (or at least used to like) Shakira, since she is from their native country.

Almost every chica I've had says her favorite type of music is Reggaeton.

IMHO they like the most because it is music they can dance to.

And who's going to object when they put their hips throguh all those bumps and gyrations...

NOT ME!

Muff,
If you tried to keep up with those Latina's on the dance floor, you'd be in traction for a month !!! :P

Just stick with what works for you. Dancing under the sheets...... :!: :!: :!:

But keep up with those chicas with the well greased hip and waist joints..?

I'd rather watch, enjoy, and wonder if she will move that way when I get her in the sack

Yea most of the chicas like oldies to listen too, but for dancing they like other music like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton.

Dancing to reggaeton is the beat warmup for sex. Gets the blood moving, warms up the hips and waist as the dance movements are so similiar to sex much like the pitcher warming up the arm to throw, or the golfer taking a few practice swings.....

If you want to hit the non pros you have to dance a little...

The chicas like the song gasolina by don omar(I think) and camisa negra by juanes. Although I don't like these two.

I should probably clarify, in that I'm less interested in club music than in "back in my room" music. Some upbeat stuff would be fine, to go along with the romantic stuff, but I don't want to turn my room into another nightclub, and would like a good mix.

K by me,

Here's what works for me:

1)go buy a "best of reggaeton" cd of various artists from any retailer or buy a compilation from your online MP3 store. quick and easy.

2) Shaggy "Hotshot," a great cd for shagging

3) chicas I know, also like Bon Jovi

Mix em up. Puts some candles in your room as well. And bring some candies like jolly ranchers and leave them on the dresser. Pretend you're not paying for the tail.

A-m-b-i-a-n-c-e.
