Not a Newbie I just don't post much!

Hey guys- my first trip to costa rica on april 22-25th. Am going to be at the holiday inn on 5th st, Is this a good spot for the del rey and other hot spots? would sure appreciate to hook up with some one while there as I am a newbie. bkcwhopper@yahoo.com

Is convenient to the HDR and the gulch but has some serious drawbacks.

Walking at night to get to the monger spots requires walking through or next to Morazan Park. The "girls" in that park are not girls unless you like them with extra equipment.

Not chica friendly. They have a high guest fee.

Would suggest you change hotels if possible.

Thanks for the info. My other easy option was the hotel santo tomas- anything on that? Thanks again for help!

Sorry have no info on that choice. Suggest you consider Presidente, Hotel Morazan, Amon Plaza, Castillo or Sportsman Lodge.

Do a search on hotels and you will find a lot of info.

Have to agree with ID. Santo Tomas is located about 200 meters west of Holiday Inn, so you would encouter the same problem about walking through the part that ID pointed out.
