Hey guys,

I'm just 6 short days from SJO and wanted a quick poll to see what most guys bring with them to spend. Keep in mind that this does not include airfare, however, include hotel, food/drink, gambling and of course women  .

This is based on a San Jose trip only, I realize that alot of guys do canopy, fishing etc but lets stick to strictly SJO activities.

Thanks for the input!

Mikey B,

Heh, yeah, I'm planning on bringing about 2 grand with me  My last trip was only 4 days long, and I pretty much know what I plan to spend. I like the Mps alot so my money goes a long way in general. I was just curious though.

Can't wait to get there and get that first pop outta the way at the dungeon! Almost as cheap as whacking off :D

Think the unknown there is gambling. High rollers on a streak might pay for the whole trip on winnings and then again they may lose more than the poll lists as possibilities.

I would say $200.00 a day not including gambling and figuring on 50% MP mongering and 25% strip club and 25% BM.

ID,

Thats about what I figured...$200-$225 a day. This trip I plan on hitting alot of places I didn't get to see last time. I'm gonna scope out alot of the places on the tico list ie: 70e,chacha, 747, bar camelot, jet set etc etc. Unfortunately last time I only got to ZB, Idem, Oasis a tico strip club that I can't think of the name of. Not that I'm saying these places were bad, they were great but I want to "broaden the horizon" a bit this time around.

Damn I want Tuesday to get here!

Maboman,
A little anxiety ?!??!?
It always seems like the last few days before a trip, the time seems to just crawl. Do You find yourself looking at the clock all day long ?!?!?! No worries. You'll be in paradise soon!
Have fun,
MG

I'm with Mikey-B. Luckily I go down on business. My controller always rolls her eyes when i need 2000 cash, plus bring her a fistful of restaurant and hotel receipts!

I always estimate about $200 to $250 average per day. I'll have a few outliers like $200 TLN with a colombiana and a few cheaper days where I just an MP.

Yeah, I think with eating and drinking well, and enjoying the comapany of 2 - 3 ladies a day you could easily spend 2k plus.

I spend about $200 on drinks alone... most at the Del Rey. And no I'm not buying all the chicas drinks. I'm on a budget on my next trip and will have to cut my drinking down quite a bit. I have a beer gut from my six trips in six months.

I have seen my budget creep up as I have gotten older. I am wanting a better hotel, better food, better girls, etc. Today I will spend about $300 per day that I am in Costa Rica. If I have a "girlfriend/novio/favorita" the budget can go to hell in a hurry! Especially if her mom needs a heart transplant.
