I think i posted elsewere on this before but......

This post is the same as others about the REAL CRT clout regarding
street security, Del Ray pricing , and the Prez.
In conversations with several Gringos at the Prez and the HDR about membership, they may have heard of CRT but probably not.

Twarag and others sum it up well, We ( CRT brothers ) are still a small
minority in the big picture, we have a unique ability to pretrip and advise
others , I am so glad I found CRT.

I spend close to 2 weeks at the Prez in January, No troubles of any kind, even the first night arriving the night guy gave me some fast
advice on girls and basic safety from a mongering point of view.

I own my own business, Good business dictates you listen to customers
complaints , All business and new customers are a good thing,
HOWEVER at a certain point if a group or indaviduall , tend to complain too much, I welcome them to move on and cry to someone else.
I admit that is not the best approach to customer service but it is mine.

Random complaints aside I do want to hear about a sharp change in policy if The Prez was to push us away, for now I would say best to fly under the raydar, Yes ?

I will put up with a bit of hassle if staying at the Prez, yes there are families staying there.

I just stayed at the prez for the 4th time in 3 years, and really enjoyed my stay. Wendy was awesome while I was making and changing reservations, and the entire staff was great during my stay. Feel the maids work really hard cleaning up the fantasy land that was my room (don't forget to tip the maids).

The only comment made to any of my dates this trip was the security guard politely asking one to pull up the zipper on her shirt, as her boobs were falling out of the top. Personally, I don't have time to worry about these little inconveniences when I am trying to enjoy myself to the fullest.

I agree with the folks that have posted that a gal will learn or it will hurt her business. Imagine you are in their shoes. you find a drunk horny guy that offers you $80. Really there are under a handful of hotels in the gultch he will likely take you (lets say 5 for simple math) So all things being equal a 20% chance he takes you to the Pres. you get there and find out your clothing is not sufficient. the guy says "sorry" and takes your friend instead. I think the first time this happens to a gal she decides that light coat over her purse is a good investment.

Just my 2 cents

One solution, would be to enter through the Fiesta Casino go to the second floor by the Skybox and have the coats (if necessary) and chica checkin take place outside of the Skybox on the 2nd floor. The gamblers won't notice much and the Fiesta staff wouldn't mind if you happen to drop some coins in the slots on the way.

This would be much more discrete than doing the chica checkin at the reservations counter. The real problem is in the main entry and lobby area where family's and chicas occasionally check in at the same time. Oww.

I was having dinner with a very attractive 18 yr old Tica in the News Cafe one night and a couple of middle aged gringas gave me such a hard cold look I have to admit it made me a little uncomfortable. My beer went from cold to hot with the glare from these gringas 8)

I had that happen about 2 years ago. I got up from my table and spoke to the couple suggesting they were being impolite and actually rude to my dinner companion and myself. They got all flustered being cofronted and made a point never to look our way. My date thanked me for talking to them and this started a fun friendship for the next several months.
Confront the judgemental bastards in a polite way

....and who are they to pass judgement on you?!! :?:

I like Twarag's stance. Politely confront them, and in a most respectful, diplomatic way, tell them to PH*CK OFF !!!

This has never happened to me (yet), but if it does, I would not let them make me feel the least bit uncomfortable. I am not a shy person, whatsoever! :D

That attitude is not confined to Costa Rica. Check out the looks "older" gentleman get, from gringas, when they have dinner with their 22 year old companion in the states. And of course the always witty, in their mind, comment " how nice of him to take his granddaughter to dinner"

You know, in 5 years of marriage to a Colombiana 18 1/2 years younger than me I never noticed it. She was carded at a casino when she was 31. She is 34 now and still looks 24.

I'm sure there were looks, and I know GUYS were looking at her, but I just never noticed anything negative. I was probably oblivious to it.

I told myself that if a man had any thoughts about us he was just jealous of ME and if a woman had any negative thoughts about us she was just jealous of my wife's youth and beauty.

Phuck 'em.

You hit that right on the head. Envy from the men and resentment by the women.

I don't doubt that there were looks cast your way that you just did not notice. Just goes to show if we focus on what is important to us who cares or notices what others think.

I don't get it: They have a dress code for the chicas yet they let Circus in?
Have you ever seen the way Circus dresses? For God's sake, he's a poster Ch*ld for the homeless! What has the world come to!

Hankkh, you are waaayyyy too sensitive man. So they stared at you? and what...? Let 'em look! Personally, I'd just wave at them and give 'em a 'guess-what-I-did-last-night?' wink. 8)

Baaadddd boyyyyy.... LMFAO....
