Alright, as many of you have already indicated I would do, I am planning my next trip. Only this time, I have a few more established connections. I was thinking this time of staying at a resort called Xandari, not too far from San Jose. I figured I could relax for a long weekend, and still enjoy the fruits of Costa Rica.

Has anyone heard anything about this place or had experience in a resort like this that they may recommend? This is probably going to be a solo trip as I want to do it soon.

Any help would be appreciated. And FTR, I did do a search on this site and did not find anything about this particular resort.

Thanks!

It looks like 45 minutes or more by cab to the gulch. Too far from the action for me.

That was the plan. I wanted to bring my own girl. So it is tica friendly then?

Thanks for the heads up!
