Newbie to CR from the East Coast USA, but veteran of Philippines and Thailand. CR is closer to home and I m looking for some comparisons other than being twice as expensive. Any of you mongers out there done both SE Asia reguraly and CR? Whats the pros and cons.

Welcome to the board. I have not bin to Asia yet. I am thinking about it next Feb. Also thing about South America. There are a lot of member here, that have bin to a lot of different places. It is amazing the information you can receive. I would also like to recommend the VIP Membership. The discounts you receive will pay for the membership.

Okay, the difference is from my experience; normally an all-nighter is either assumed or very negotiable. I think in PI, It was 20 bucks a night; please meals and I did break a rule and pay 30 bucks for a swimsuit as she stayed until the afternoon the following day. I think the GFE that some guys look for is easier to come by in Asia than it is hear, buy YMMV. Other than that, the amount of girls is a lot less in CR than in most monger locals in Asia, but it is a lot closer. Hope that helps. 8)

Thanks for the info Tim. I ve researched now and read this board quite a bit. Looks like the only advantage of CR is the location is closer to USA. Hotel prices seem double both the Philippines and Thailand and pu*sy seems to be about 5 times more. But as they say in real estate location, location, location. I cant hop a plane Friday and come home Monday to SE Asia and I can CR. I look forward to meeting some members here in March.

I would say that you can get a good room for a minimum of 40 bucks, is San Jose and I am sure someone has gotten one cheaper. I would look in the discount section of the board for some deals on hotel rooms.

The art of the deal with the chicas is not to pay $100 a shot (no cien) and to negotiate everything up front and you should be able to get some decent indecent fun for 60 bucks or so. Happy hunting.

Frank, I have been to PI twice. And the cost is alot less.

I think you have allready figured out most of the differences. I am from DC. My first trip was a 4 hour ten minute plane ride and only one hour time zone difference. United does not have that flight any more so it is about 6 hours now and allways a transfer.

Another thing is you are still in America. It is spanish culture and they have watched US TV for along time. When I was in Cartago people didn't even no I was not local till I opened my mouth. And I have grayish red hair and blue eyes. That never happens in Asia.

If economy is important then you should do the MP's. There are sevral that are 20.00 for an hour. I would recomend Oasis in that price range. And I think Zona Blue at 40.00 is a great deal allso. They have a nice Bar and cigar room. I don't drink or smoke but like the atmosphere.

The Hotel Del Rey has private independent girls. You see in CR Prostitution is legal. Pimping is a one way ticket to prision. So the strip joints and massage palors rent the girls space and provide atmosphere only. In the DR the house has nothing to do with the girls. They just check ID's to make sure they are 18. And that is it. In Asia you pay bar fines. In CR you pay the girl. Everyone try's to stay away from what you and the girl works out because that would make them accomplishes in Pimping. But if you like the fixed price for certian services then stick with the clubs and MP's. Yet! you have to go to the DR and KL at least once. You will be like a K*D in a candy store.

Redman thanks for the info bro. I dont know if you ever did LA Cafe or not in Manila but much of what I m reading here sounds about same. Hardcore freelancer action. I got game and love that action. I hope I m on target but the beauty of these new monger locations there is no preparing til you touch down on ground zero in person. I m looking forward to it.

When in Manilia I just wandered around with jet lag late at night. Emitra area. I like the garden city motel. I do not gamble much so the casino's are not me, But I would take girls to the Holiday Inn late at night. They would go wild in a place like that. It would be the first time most had heard the ching ching. Always cashing out, Not profit.

You will have a good time. Read the boards. And be safe. It seems like there is alot more crime in CR.

But I have not had problems yet.

Frankp,
Welcome to CRT.
The Del Rey is similar to LA Cafe only in the repect that they both have working girls.

The Del Rey is a hotel. The main floor contains the lobby, tour desk, coffee bar, cafe, slot machines and a few casino table games and the Blue Marlin bar. There is no music or entertainment to speak of. The girls just fill the walls and a few tables and make themselves available.

For live music and dancing you just have to cross the street to Key Largo. This place is owned by the same people as the Del Rey. The girls roam between these two places.
