New Ranking System announced!

Since I had a few hours to kill I've created a ranking system to have some fun for our posters based on the # of posts they have submitted.

0-50 Posts CR Virgin - Newbie!

26 to 49 Just learning the Gulch

51 to 149 Not a Newbie I just don't post much!

150 to 299 I can do C.R. without a wingman

300 to 499 Ticas ask me for advice

500 to 999 Masters Degree in Mongering

1000 PHD From Del Rey University-----------------------
This is all in fun guys to show you where you stand in the course of posting etc. It encourages more participation from many seasoned vets who don't post as well.

Please guys don't make posts just to move up in your post rank. The idea here is to get more people to contribute meaningful thoughts, insight and posts.

CRAP!!!! Looks like I just got downgraded from a PHD to an MS. That's it..I'm turning in my resignation and transfer to anther University. Hell, there are people here who have only been to CR maybe 2 or 3 times or have never been to CR already have their professorship.

When I first read a few posts and saw the line under the screen name I wondered how guys did that. Then I saw a line under my name and said what the f*ck?. Then I read this post by Admin1 and understood where it came from.

Have yet to form an opinion if this is a good thing, a bad thing or somewhere in between. Guess time will tell.

Based on the new ranking system, I think my handle should now be "Dr. Orange"

Just kidding, forget PhD, I haven't completed my bachelor's from Del Rey U yet.

Dino: See what happens you have spent so much time in Rio that you have foresaken the CRT brotherhood... The dam admin, I bet he set he number just so that you didn't have your PHD & you had to start going back to CR to finish your thesis. :twisted:

I don't want to step on any toes here, BUT, I would like to see a cut back on the posts that don't say anything.

You know the type I'm talking about. Such as "yeah, you da man" and the like.

Witling does have a point, and I have no room to talk (being one of the original 3 smart-assed excessive posters semi-responsible for the creation of the Smack-Talk section

) but have to agree maybe some posts would be better placed in the smack-section instead of every active thread. FYI-Most of the complaints came when useless dialogue hijacked threads started by other members.

This was a fun thread- it should have just been closed after the first post. :lol:

Damn the admin...always pulling a fast one on me. Although, I have been trying to go back to CR but the plane ticket between CR and Rio is not that much different SO.. I rather fly to Rio just to get more AA miles and faster free tickets. Oh well...in the mean time I just have to sit at the back of the class and listen to lectures by the newbies instead of being the one who gives lectures. :cry:
