About the same distance as Copacabana...it is the next hotel towards town on the beach from the copa. Not sure how chica friendly it is, but it is a nice quiet place with walk out to the beach...all suites I believe.

T-Man..I'm not familiar with the Copa either. I just want to know if it's walking distance to the BB and town. Sounds like it is but confirm that please. Thank you.

Hey Piroca, the hotel is actually crawling distance from the BB. Had some friends stay there a few months back. Very nice hotel.. You'll find that nothing is really that long of a walk in Jaco. Have fun.

Sorry Piroca...my bad presumption. Most guys on the board have stated going to Copacabana because it is 1.5 blocks from the BB. Thought you knew that. Canciones del Mar is a very nice spot though...I took my GF there which is what it is recommended for. Good luck.

Have stayed at the Del Mar three years straight and for me there is no better place. Super clean and quiet along with a first class owner. Nice pool and very friendly staff.

JD You have choosen a great place to stay. A short walk to the Beetle Bar and it's chica friendly. Marko, the manager will help you with any needs you have and Peter, the owner is first class. If you plan on cooking on the outdoor grill they have installed, be sure to ask Peter or Marko before you fire it up. You can say that Ron forwarned you. Enjoy your stay, we'll be there a month after you leave.

I'm staying at Canciones on Saturday-Sunday & Monday nights in 2 weeks. Clearly I'll head to BB on Saturday night. How active are any of the other places (looking for some diversity besides just the BB) on Sunday and Monday evenings?
