During walks between SL and ZB, I've noticed a cute little hotel called the Hemingway Inn. I checked online and the prices look good. Does anyone have any intel? More importantly, are they chica friendly???? :?

Chi,
I noticed it too, but I saw a lot of eco-tourists (esp. women & K*ds) going in and out, so I have a feeling they would not welcome us with open arms. But this is just my opinion, I have no concrete info.

The Hemingway does get alot of eco-tourists and family types. They will allow you to bring a chica to the room, however there is a $10.00 chica fee which I believe is negotiable.

Mikey-B,

This is what I was told from a person "in the know" when I was asked why I stay at the Castillo now, and I responded "because of no chica fee."

I remember a number of months back I was browsing through some AOL profiles and I came across this girls profile. She was blond, I think from Texas and looked to be about 23 years old or so, incredibly good looking and it turns out she was (at the time) the manager of the Hemingway Inn there. I just remember her being so good looking that I looked into booking a room there just so I could try and "spend some time" with her. But I came to the conclusion that it looked too family oriented and I never followed through. Looks to be a "charming" type of a B & B.
