I stayed at the Amon Plaza for two nights during superbowl weekend and highly recommend it when the usual suspects are booked (even if they are not booked I highly recommend it). I booked it through Nixon from Casino Paradiso/Amon Plaza and received the CRT discount of $85 tax included for the Junior Suite. This also included a nice buffet breakfast that you can enjoy on their outdoor patio.

The place is a Clarion Hotel and the rooms are nice and modern. The shower in my room kicked ass (showers at other hotels that I have stayed in in San Jose are hit or miss).

Arranged the booking (via E-Mail) through Nixon who is a real nice guy. When I got there I met Nixon in the casino and paid him directly. He then gave me a voucher and I took it to the front desk and got my room. No problems whatsoever. NO CHICA FEES

The best thing about this place is that it is about 50 yards from Zona Blue.
It is also walking distance to all of the other fun activities/places in the gultch.

The CRT discount makes this place a real good deal.
