Finally after going thru crap and dust i booky my flight, I could have gone for under $400 but all this floridian virgins spring breakers decide to book at the same time and beat me to all the deals. Im paying $476 now i have to research the hotels i became a VIP yesterday hope that saves me a couple of bucks.

If you still need to go cheaper, you can get a decent room at the Hotel Gran Via (around U.S. $40.00 cash/night incl. breakfast) and Costa Rica Hotel Morazan (under $50.00/night).

Not speaking directly about you personally, but I cringe when I think aboutt "spring breakers" flocking to Costa Rica. Most of these young gentlemen will not read CRT, will overpay for sex, and will generally ruin the vibe for any non-collegiates who have the misfortune to be in San Jose at the same time. I hope you do indeed do some homework here, so you can maximize your fun, minimize your costs and avoid screwing things up for everyone else.

For a first trip I would stay in action central which is the Hotel Del Rey.

24/7 action. Safe, and plenty of other guy to get advice from.

Presidente $42 plus tax, plus chica fee

Im gonna try military discounts now, is there a chica fee for casa vino could find nothing about that.

There is no chica fee at the Presidente, but I think the rates went up ten bucks. Can anyone confirm that?

Presidente muy expensivo, I think i might stay at the nuevo Johnson i hears is not bad for 10 bucks an hour. I had been browsing the new vip section for hours now and a lot of the hot girls are in the SL?? what does that SL means is not in the abbreviation page?

SL = Sportsmen's Lodge, a very cool hotel. However, if you find the Presidente too expensive at $42.00 + tax, then the SL will also be too expensive.

I'd say okay to the Nuevo Johnson, but it isn't in a great part of town, a bit removed from Ground Zero (Hotel Del Rey/Blue Marlin Bar) and is very spartan at $10.00/night.

If you need to save the $$$, try either the Gran Via on Av. c. or the Europa. I think for the price difference however, a studio at the Presidente would be your best bet,, or as Ace suggests, the lowest priced rooms at the HDR. But again, remember that the Hotel del Rey charges a $10.00 per chica, per visit "guest charge." Also, the Presidente's room rates include free breakfast buffet in the News Cafe on premises. Good food, and an included breakfast can help stretch your budget.

Don't know who the blondie is...but there's 400 more where she came from... Do your own scouting/hunting.

Don't forget that you can, with a little work find real gems at even the cheapest locals' massage parlors. For $20.00, you can get an hour of very hot fun with a cutie at Oasis massage, and you can even go cheaper.
