Thanks to everybody who showed up, the 12 no-shows will be dealt with later (just kidding), overall I thought it was a great night. Especially because I took second. XMan you lucky bitch, that river saved your ass. Nah, you played well. I will give you props, you earned it. We had 20 players.

Payout breakdown:
20 players X 20K colones = 400K pot

400K-45K for dealers (15K each) = 355K total prize pool.

1st (60%) = 213K ($426) + $100 = $526 + free zona blue session
2nd (25%) = 89K ($178) + $50 = $228
3rd (15%) = 53K = $106

I tried to lose so I could leave with the Chica I enjoyed ploaying with you Orange but I had you before the river Anyway the whole event was a good time and a worth while cause I hope to spend a good bit of time with the rest of you. I have soneme very good pictures to post. Of the Nica I carried out of the SL when the tournement was over.

My pleasure putting it all together. It was a great time for everybody. Even guys who were eliminated early on told me they had a good time. Thanks for those who actually showed up (just kidding). I need to give special thanks to a few people who helped make the tourney a sucess. Mikey-B, special thanks to you for the extra money you added to the pot. (And on a personal level, an even more special thanks for the chica you and your novia hooked me up with on Sunday night. Finally popped my Colombiana cherry. ) LVSteve, thanks for arranging the 3rd dealer. Dave, for the bounties. And of course, Bill, for providing the space and tables for us to play at. If I forgot anyone, I apologize, post-CR depression is kicking in, very mild this time though.

As far as my hernia surgery, thanks for the good thoughts. No, I didn't get it from too much phucking in CR , I got it a few days before my trip from working out, but I wasn't missing it. It only slowed me down, didn't completely ruin it for me. I'll make up for it in May.

Xman, you played strong, especially at the end, you deserved to win. But I had you outkicked the last hand until you caught the second pair on the river. Mikey-B, you played well but I just think you got cold cards at the end. Dave, you also played very well, making some strong all-in bets at the end until Xman took you out and took your 10K bounty.
