Peyton Manning passed away. He was at the Gates to heaven where God met him.

"Peyton I have a nice home for you" said God They walked a short distance and there was a small but very nice house with a small yard.

Peyton looked down at the end of the street and saw a large 50 room mansion that had a HUGE yard and Black and Gold on every window with steelers flags and terrible towels every where.

Peyton turned to God and asked " God why does Ben Rotheisberger get such a large house and I get such a very nice but modest house?"

God put his hand on Peyton's shoulder and said, " Peyton that is my house."

Steelers in the Superbowl...... ahhh I so remember the good old days of the Steel Curtain, the immaculate reception, Franco, Terry Lynn.... IMHO the best dynasty EVER!

Thirdworld... I aslo remember. But I'm sure you meant "Lynn Swan"... didn't you? And don't forget the best story of all: Rocky Bleier!

Muff,
I think he meant "Terry, Lynn" as in Bradshaw and Swann, respectively.

I've been looking at this matchup. The early line has Steelers -4.

Let's see:
"Neutral field" although Bettis is a Detroit native. Of course the team's fans don't actually get tickets anyway. They are only sold to BIG MONEY corporations!
"Inside" so no field or weather considerations.
Both have a formidable running game.
Both have quick, decent defenses.
Both have young and/or inexperienced QBs (in big games).
They both looked good in the playoffs.

While the Steelers have more big game "history" it really doesn't mean much considering none of these players were part of it.

This is going to be a tough game to call. I think it will come down to turnovers or mistakes.

I think I'll take Seattle and the 4 points.
That should make the party interesting!

Yeah, I was typing fast and left out the comma. Was referring to Bradshaw and Swann. Rocky Bleir, of course. That team was so packed I can't even list them all. And don't ever forget Joe Greene.

Right though, that is the past. I do think the current Steelers have a solid team and am going to bet them -4 for the fun of it. Like seeing Seattle there though. I've got some good friends who I'm sure are stoked for the Seahawks. Mainly hoping we get a good game.

I met a few guys at the SL on the last 2 trips and wish they were in Costa Rica to share a few beers while watching the game and the CHICAS.
GO STEELERS!
