Here was another ad from the same website: Another eye-popping view – at a lower cost – is from Tiquicia (289-5839), a rustic restaurant perched on the edge of the mountain overlooking the valley. We enjoyed a long evening here, eating typical Tico fare and watching a thousand points of light twinkle below. Take a taxi or follow the many signs on the road up through San Antonio

Have been to Tiquica a few times, never ate there, went for the show. The view is good, the Tico typical dancer show fun to watch and in general a nice place to have a few drinks

Tiquicia now has my vote.
Went to Tiquicia last week for dinner. The night view of the valley is spectacular, IMO it is much better than the view from Ram Luna.

Once you park, where in fact you'll be facing the great view already, you have to walk a few steps down to the main dinning area, which is a rustic style casa.

We stayed at the bar section , which is to the extreme left of the premise. Dim lighting and romantic enough to bring ticas in for drinks or meals. Also it has tv's hanging here and there at the bar section, so for sports fans this can be another option.

Prices were reasonable, we had a few beers and some chicharrone ( spelling ? ) and bocas, final bill totalled under 60 bucks for 4 persons.

The tables at the bar are a bit small, but I find this place more cozy than Ram Luna, love the view, and will return.

The washroom is clean but small and dated.

Closes on Monday, open every evening but Sunday. Lunch only on Saturdays and Sundays.
