I've stayed the last several times at Amon Plaza and I enjoy it there. But this time I'd like to stay at Sportmens Lodge. Question is: When I've booked a room at Amon I went directly to Nixon there and got a special CRT rate. For booking a room at SL do I just do that through the website or should I communicate directly with anyone special for any possible discounts. Thx.

You can book through the website, by email, or by phone (toll-free 800 number). Just mention that you are a CRT VIP to receive your discount.

And even for worse case, when you show up to check in, just show your VIP card, you will always get the discount...

One more question: Do the rooms in the SL have a safe that's big enough to hold a laptop and a regular size camera? I know the safes in the Amon did have enough room for those.

They are big enough for cameras,,but not for laptops.
