I returned last Monday from a great fishing trip in Jaco. I headed up a group of 10 guys that consisted of co-workers and clients. We spent 3 nights at the Copacabana, with this being our groups third year in a row there.

I have to say, this place is perfect for us. The food and service was exactly what we need and the rooms are comfortable. The area around the pool and dining area lent itself to being able to visit with our clients (and their new-found dates), drink, and laugh (possibly sometimes a little too loud).

I understand that there are other good options in Jaco and that some guys have some minor issues. But for my money and precious time, I will continue to stay at the Copa. In fact, I’ve already reserved my boats and rooms for our next trip. Just my Two cents.

Agree - the Copa is a cool place! Only stayed there once (on my first trip), but I liked everything about it - the rooms, the location, the ambience, proximity to the Beatle Bar, etc. Only downside - a little on the pricey side, but as always, you get what you pay for.
