I am headed back down in about a month and am setting something up for the beach with a tica that I met last trip. I am attempting to get the translation of her email to me correct and after putting it through 3 online translators I am still confused. I think that she must be using some colloquialisms because I am getting some very garbled text back at the key phrase of her message.

Here it is, any help is greatly appreciated.

espero que tenga un dia muy productivogracias por acordarte de mi, y llamarme. Tengo una pregunta para ti no se tal suene un poco grosero pero necesito preguntarte, estas de acuerdo en pagarme $400 sabes que ese es mi trabajo y si voy contigo estaria perdiendo 4 dias, tu me agradas mucho pero ese no es el caso. Si no estas de acuerdo no importa dimelo.

Basically she is saying that she doesn't want to be rude but since she is losing 4 days of work she will need $400. She also say's that it is O.K. if you don't agree to this arrangement.

"I hope you have a very productive day. thank you to remember me, and to call me. I have a question for you you such it sounds a little rude but I need to wonder, these of agreement in paying me $400 know that that it is my work and if I go with you it would be losing 4 days, your you please me a lot but that it is not the case. If not these of agreement don't care you tell it to me."

Sounds to me like she wants you to give her $400 the next time you see her, to pay her for her time. In other words, she still wants to ph*ck you, but it's still gonna cost you!

I've been in this situation and I still have to chuckle when I read these.

$400 for 4 days? That is equivelent to a month's salary for many people in Costa Rica. Does she really make $400 for four days "work"?

Nothing like getting a paid vacation.

Wit, I was feeling pretty good about the rate. I have not replied to her yet, any suggestions for negotiations. I am looking at it as I am tying up her time, 4 days x 24 hours a day (yes, there may be a little sleep). If she 'worked' a couple of evenings she could make the same and still have 3-1/2 days to spare?

i am all for economy, though. i also think that this might be someone that i want to repeat with and i do not want to set the bar too high the first time.

No she most likely does not average a $100.00 a day as a "working girl" but it never hurts to ask. Some times she may get get lucky and a guy will go for that. She appears to understand that it is a long shot so she has left the door open for a counter offer.

While we may think these girls are unsophisticated in the ways of the business world they continually surprise with there understanding of salesmanship and negotiating practices.

As DD said several gals wont average 100 / day. I know a gal that went 15 days without a score.

However remember many of these gals are not wise in terms of finances. One gals story of the 2k three night score will have several gals waiting for the big score rather than go for a decent sum.

If she is nice looking $100 a day to travel doesn't sound all that bad. I'm usually not serious, just seeing what they go for, but when I invite the quality I like to travel, they laugh at me for $100 per day. I know, I know, different strokes for different folks.

$400 for 4 full days, 24 hrs a day, with unlimited sexo? IMHO, that's a good deal.....maybe even a GREAT deal if she's hot.

If you average 3 pops per day, X 4 days = 12 pops divided into 400 = net C.P.F. (cost per phuck) is only about $33. per session. And that's if you're only hittin' it 3 times a day! I'd say go for it FunGuyBOS. By day # 4, you'll have no mas leche !!!

We all are different thank you God but for me these Latinas I love so much & so many are just far to Ch*ld like to have much in common with meaningful conversations for any length of time so I see the $100 for 2 or at the most 3 hours as better with 4 different Latinas. If you hang with them long enough get use to the cel phone going off & listen to all the family problems!! NOT WORTH IT IN MY BOOK! You guys ever really look these Chicas bodies over from head to toe & see how many scars they have accumulated thru their life? It is amazing too me because they are so young. Morenas show scars generally more so than fair skinned Latinas but this just shows me how truly careless & reckless this Latinos are growing up!

At least your chica managed to squeeze in 5 or 6 punctuation marks. Very unusual for a tica e-mail...a chica's written message is usually one long run-on sentence.

$100 per day is not bad...if she agrees to pick up her share of the expenses (transportation, hotel, meals, drinks, beauty care, accessories, souvenirs, gifts, etc.). From my experience, a road trip with a chica means paying her a nominal daily stipend PLUS picking up her expenses. She needs to be reminded that this will be an all-expense paid vacation from the depths of the gulch. Having said that, I believe you may have some room for negotiating her daily fee (assuming you can convey your position in Spanish). You should realistically assess how much she enjoys your company and how badly she wants to go to the beach before setting a target price for her daily services.

I suppose that the money thing would be easier if I just went ahead and married her. Then we all know what the deal is: she gets at least half!

I am going to talk to her this weekend. Her spoken English is not too bad; so between her English and my spoken Spanish, we should be able to strike a deal. I am flying into Liberia so her transportation is yet another consideration; she has a car so I may see if she is up for driving and picking me up at Liberia airport. There is a savings right there - no rental car.

Her car is definitely a major consideration in the deal and definitely adds value and leveraging power (in her favor). The big plus is not having to drive in CR, if you don't want to. IF, your tica is one of the few careful, considerate drivers in Costa Rica, it may save a few years to your life
