Just got back from my first ever trip to CR. I stayed at Casa Vino in the Executive Suite. I have to say it totally exeeded my expectations. The location absolutely rocked as it's 1/2 a block from the Zona Blue and New Fantasy. Besides this it's right next door to the Clarion Amon hotel and the Casino Paradiso. The neighborhood was very peaceful and safe. Even though it's walking distance to the Del Rey and Key Largo you should take a cab at night.

Besides the location it was like having your own party palace right there in the city. The steam room is great, as is watching football on the giant projection tv. I loaded up the wet bar one night and had a little private party with 3 ticas. It's so great being able to hit the steam after alot of heavy action.

So all in all, two thumbs up for CR and CV (Casa Vino). I'll be coming back in a month or so with a buddy am going to rent the whole house and really have a party. Also a big thanks to Tony from Casa Vino who made sure everything was perfect and gave me all kinds of invaluable info. on San Jose and the scene.
