OK, who wants to let the chicas know?

They already know it but also know they can get away with charging a lot more because they are dealing with tourist on a limited time frame.

I think that this most likely the base rate that most Ticos pay (or less). The only ones who have to negotiate down cien are the gringos who go to the strip clubs and BM.

Girls at the MP's do not get the amount you pay. From what I have heard they get no more than 50% and maybe less so they are in the 20000 colones range or less.

Neighborhood girls charge about 15000 colones plus taxi fare each way so comes to about 17000. Vegas Bob posted his standard is $60.00 (30000) for 2 hours. Lower prices are available but unfortunately most of the CRT brotherhood are here for a limited time and can not make the contacts necessary to get the local price. This is what keeps the gulch girl prices high.

Yes, let's all feel sympathy for Scuba's 35 day vacation (1 of many in 2005).

I was thinking the same thing!!! I only wish I could take 35 days at a time in CR, never mind doing it a few times per year!

But, in the spirit of brotherhood, I'll buy Scubabum a drink the next time we're in town together. If every member buys him a drink when they cross paths, then he'll never have to buy another drink in CR. Then, he can take 45 - 60 day vacations in CR.

Scuba, we gotcha covered!
