I think they definitely have some unwritten rules and you've hit on a few, whether they'd be considered "ethics" or not is questionable.. :)

Rule 6) Actually that is all I can think up for now, but I bet you other guys could think up a few more.

I'm not sure they all know about #3 Prolijo. :twisted:

A few more that come to mind-

7) If a chica's purse is seen on the table or chair and no chica around- that gringo (or gringos) in the immediate vicinity are "marked property" and no otra chica shall approach or speak to said marked territory while the missing chica is in the bano or on the phone...

8 ) Having 1 drink with a gringo is the time limit before applying pressure and asking him if he wants "company" or not. If it looks like he will commit- hurry his ass up to the room or, order another drink on his tab-(also a good time to hit him up for drinks for your amigas)

9) Always try to get your fat ugly amiga some business by offering the nearest sucker-looking gringo a "fantasy-lesbian" show in his room at a "bargain" price of 100.00 each. If he says no- wait 'til he has a few more drinks and try again, making sure the fatter chica shows him how long her tongue is while grabbing his package.

Believe it or not, I've just wasted an hour re-reading this entire thread, including the emoticons. Five pages.

The fundamental problem with this discussion (aside from rampant pseudo-intellectualism) is that the question which started the thread doesn't really deal with ethics, per se. It deals more with manners, or etiquette.

(Oh no... now Anonymouth 2 will start quoting Miss Manners and Emily Post.... sh*t...)

The event V.B. described is more about someone cutting in line in front of another. Bad manners, not "unethical" behavior.

Good point. We arbitrarily refer to it as "ethics", but in fact it's simply "etiquette". Mongering is unlike law or medicine, where there is a written code of appropriate, moral behavior (aka ethics).

Everything that has been discussed so far is completely subjective. Since there are no written rules, we judge all behavior base on our personal views.

I did not read the entire thread, because you are right, it is not about ethics. Bad judgement, maybe, just a minor miscalculation! As the individual stated, when we are there, we do have a tendacy to drink heavily, and we may make a mistake. This is all he did, he made a small miscalculation, and the thread takes on a life of its own! We all go down there, tell me that we do not drink heavy, and we do think with our little head. ALL OF US!!! If someone says otherwise, then, I say they are not candid! This thread, like one that I started, has run its course, and I personally feel that there are are too many "girly boys" on this site( as arnold would say)
wish some of you would get a life!!!! This is simple, just bad judgement, nothing else!!!!

I am sick of this thread too, but characterizing any of the posters as
"girlie-boys" is unfair and inflammatory.

If the pseudo-intellectual discourse threatens you, I'm sorry. These guys (myself included) may beat a subject to death, but there's no need to insult anyone's masculinity.

Now, where did I put my scented hankie? And damn it, I can't find my purse.... :lol:

I was sure that when I posed this "situation" on the board that "ethics" and "pholisophy" would ultimtely dominate the discussion. NOT My mother was right when she told me to go to Grad School. Who knew that I would need more education in these areas just to post on a discussion board about banging chicas. Whatever happened to the mundane discussions about "no pay cien" lol I jest here because of where my original post has ended up,but the discussions on the original topic are good.

Man, that was a lot to take in. This tread got way to deep for this simple minded southern gent. Someone wrote "we are talking ethics in an unethical place. My interpretation of this," we are talking pricks among gentlemen" . He who has the most gold rules, thats what Suddam Hussien thought. Its real simple for me, I dont flirt, talk or even stare at a women if her date or husband is there, a lot of women turn that attention into power over their mate. Men already have it hard enough in this world. As a gentlemens rule" I never cockblock" If we compete with oneanother of the chicas, they can and will charge more.
