Since I do the Spanish immersion thing and stay with a family, I need to use short-term hotels if I find a chica at the DR. I'm trying to compile a list of hotels near the gulch that can be used for 1-2 hours. What I have so far is:

1. Morazon Hotel (my first choice, near to DR, I hear $25 for 1-2 hours)
2. Motel Eden
3. Motel Asia (cheap but hygenically questionable)
4. Hotel Nuevo Johnson (so cheap for a night that it's worth it)
5. Farol Rojo (gone?)

Several questions:

1. A recent post stated that there's a new place NW of ZB that can be used for short stays. Does anyone recall the place? Can't seem to find the post.

2. My last time was in the green season, and Morazon, my first choice had plenty of rooms. What is the case for Jan-Feb?

3. Any other hotels or other info you could supply?

All help would be appreciated.

I may be wrong about this, but I was under the impression that the Sportsmen's Lodge has a room that could be rented by the hour????

SL rents a room for $25 an hour when they have openings. At least, they did back in Sep/Oct timeframe.

Have a Great Day,

As popular as the SL has become, at least from CRT guys, would not expect to find a "hot sheet" room there very frequently.

Think the Hotel La Oficina or the Motel Edan much better possibility.
