So I just came back from a ten-day stint in Costa Rica. Best trip yet with much much fun, but nothing I'd be willing to write a trip report about...

I just wanted to give an update on the goings-on at Sportsman's... Let me tell you, guys, the place just doesn't stop impressing me, and every stay there is ten times better than the previous.

I was lucky enough to stay in 6 different rooms (yeah, that's not a typo). I stayed at the Mirador, Illusiones, El Rey, Amante, Felicidad, and Amistad. The first four rooms mentioned are in the new wing and they are absolutely gorgeous. Air conditioning, modern look, comfortable beds and the top-notch service that one can expect at the SL are all there for you. My personal favorite was the Illusiones because it has a jacuzzi in it, which made that particular room that much more fun for, ahem, the special moments.

The bar is fun as always, I happened to see honey-bunnies dancing on the bar twice in ten days, and that is always a treat for the eyes. The ambiance and mood in the bar is always care-free and fun, and I highly recommend everyone to try stopping by sometime between the hours of 8pm and 11pm, which in my opinion are the best hours to see the talent and find a good crowd.

So check it out guys, the new wing is almost completely done, and those rooms that are already available are nothing short of gorgeous. In my humble opinion, it's the absolute best place to stay while in paradise.

PS, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping they name the soon-to-be-open Penthouse suite the "Sexy Bitch"... but I'm not holding my breath.

Could you give alittle more info on what new rooms at SL are like.

When I was there in October, I think I remember Bill saying that there would be pics of the new rooms up on their website soon. Maybe I am imagining things. Let me tell you, I took the tour before they were finished and they look good. Some of the views in the upper floor are pretty sweet.
