Can any one give me the heads up on Adult Toys being permitted in CR?
A few of my sweeties have asked me to bring them down and befor I get my tit in a ringer I want to know. Is it against the law to bring, have Adult toys in Costa Rica?

I sure have seen them used and shows, in ZB and other locations and just want to know if there would be a problem having a few in my suitcase when i get there. To think of it NO one has ever searched my suitcases in 20 some trips but there is always a first time.

Umm, it wouldnt be so much illegal as it is weird. If anything, customs would ask who their for, so just give them the answer or say its a girlfriends or something.

So in short I am 99.9% sure it is legal, simply due to the fact that only a few very corrupt countries have restrictions on sexual activity/pleasure

Seriously, sex toys are legal I think in every country. If asked, tell him that you only use them on yourself. LOL...

Pretty much except weird cult like countries that restrict everything. You cant even go to them so its kind of pointless.

I was in San Pedro Mall the other day and noticed a love shop (forget the name) with all sorts of (necessary?)items on the bottom floor. Extra flavours may add some zest to life. Variety I find is no problem here in San Jose.

I always travel with quite a few toys for the ladies and have not had any problem. It is sorta fun to see the young females reactions at the CR airport when they search my bag. They quickly shy away from that part. No need to feel weird. It is a normal part of life and adds quite a bit of entertainment to experiences.

All I can say is is sure to take the batteries out of them. One time I didn't & the damn vibrator turns on during check in & it was kind off an embarrassment.

In addtion to what Davey said about the place in SP mall, there's also one on the old road to Escazu near Mac's Grill.
