Interesting observation, but........
What will get you closer to those coordinates ??? Sextant, Compass, Loran, GPS, OnStar or WAAS Systems ???
Sparky, care to chime in here ?!?!?

Actually I'm about the only one with an open office here in Miami so I'm killing time and got hooked this morning on google earth.....

Zoomed in on San Jose... Found Parque Morazon and the Holiday Inn then found the Del Rey.... When you put your pointer over the building it gives you the coordinates........

Globlexplorer.com has fairly decent images. Punch in your address or gps coordinates and you can tell the color of the vehicles in you drive way.

GlobeXplorer is just like GoogleEarth, except they charge money to be a member. I can't tell any difference in the images between the two. Unless you can see more details by being a member.

On the Google Earth board someone has listed major hotels and the mall and the old train stations.

Even the Supreme Court is shown which is near the Bar Idem. How convenient.

Gamlingman:

Congratulations you were the first to plot the exact center of the universe. The location that all things revolve around.
