Does anybody know where I can buy an Imperial Cerveza t-shirt online?
One that is authentic? I bought one last year, but it's looking a bit old and faded.

P.S. Imperial Cerveza is now sold in California and Florida. I have a list of specific stores throughout Florida if anybody wants to know.

I think it's around $6.50 per six pack. How much is it in Costa Rica now?

I buy it in bottles by the case. Since I have already paid the deposit on the bottles and the case and am just swapping them out it is 298 colones (about .60) a bottle.

Just an FYI, Imperial is brewed in Costa Rica, a country located in North America, more specifically Central America, but not South America.

I don't want to start a "bitch fest" here, but are you SURE CR is considered North America? The Ticos call us gringos North Americans. That doesn't make any sense.

Everything from Panama north is considered North America and everything south is considered South America. The term "Central America" is used widely to denote the region in between Colombia and Mexico but in a geography sense, there is no such thing.

I just bought a 6 pack of Imperial in long neck bottles in West Palm Beach Florida...$7.99
A little bit pricey, but worth it for the memories that it generates.

I'm glad you had some luck finding the Imperial, Dongordo. Don't drink too much.

Publix supermarkets in Florida sold it for about six months back in 2000 or 2001, but they stopped selling it and I haven't seen it there since. I even tried to see if as couple of the beer specialty stores in the Tampa area (Beers of the World in Clearwater) had it, but no one could get any for some reason. I figured it was due to trade problems and the pending CAFTA agreement. It's not really great beer by any means, but as Dongordo mentioned, it does bring back memories. Back in 2000, I had only been to CR a few times, so the 'novelty' factor came into play.
