As I am blind, my photography isn't real good. But yes, I agree that this could be an addition to Prolijo's map, Get Rhythm's map nad even Lump's map.

There are other laundries within six blocks of the Presidente; look in the Pageinas Amarillas (Yellow Pages) under "Lavanderias." The Sixaola laundry has been discussed in a couple past threads, but the Dryclean Lavanderia Camila has not, as far as I know yet been mentioned here. Funny, as it's within a very short stroll from the Gulch.

Now to address the esteemed Circus' comments. Can you really imagine my fat blind ass crawling out a window?

I'd probably end up hanging myself of the maid with the clothesline and scattering my socks and underwear all over c. 9. And unlike you, I can't reuse my condoms. The "Mister Mini-micro-mite" brand condoms I use are only good for 1/2 use...after that, they're useless. I have tried cutting the pinky finger from a X=-small Playtex glove to use as a substitute, but it keeps falling off. Although Playtex gloves are so flexible, I can pick up a dime.

BTW, got a print of that photo in front of the Presidente. PM me if you'd like a real print versus the digital...and hey Twarag, everyone tells me the pic is awesome and that you're a fine photographer, even if you were half drunk and sticky-dicked at the time.

Keep it clean in San Jose gents. The chicas simply adore a guy whose underwear lacks bacon strips and/or rear admiral stripes.

Yea, that laundry has fairly good service and attendants are friendly. But here's the plan: Laundry the Circus way.

Pack a roll of cord and a dozen clothespins prior to your trip. Reserve an interior room that backs up to the atrium with the fan vents. When you get to the room crawl out the sliding window and attach one end under the tiles on the opposite site and the other end to ledge at top of window. Wash your jocks, socks and shorts in the sink....ring the water out and hang out to dry on the line. WALLA. Since I only take two pair of jocks and socks and one pair of shorts....no problema. I also hang my condom out there to dry after washing it. Ciego, tip the room maid a buck and she will assist......may even help blowdry.

Just another travel tip from an old CR frugal traveler. Hope this helps.
