As I lay here in my delapidated digs with the daylight filtering in trhough my stained curtains.....my mind is full of cobwebs and yet still flickering enough to discover a memory or two on this first true day of fall. Strange, how a cool seepage of air flowing over a chest of gray hair and tickling nostrils can rejuvenate a tired body and convince one that perhaps it's worth living another day. Somewhat difficult to sleep anyway since the clapping sounds of a torn shutter resonates it's way through the un-caulked window in my bedroom. Yea, I was going to fix that some tiime ago but as with many things in my life.... priorities have a way of fading as new problems arise. As I lay here my eyes drift around the room glancing at pictures of my past and of family no longer living. In a macabre sense I feel like I'm in a burial shroud and life has left me behind to succumb to my own self pity of being alone. NO, not this day. I've got to get my aching ass up and resurrect this sore configuration of bones thus quenching any thought of not making the best of another day. Same old, same old.....take a shit, a couple of medications, glass of milk, feed Shitass my cat and open the sliding glass door to breathe in the fresh smells of morning air....at least before the road traffic pollutes it.

Normally I would go out and get the newspaper in the yard but they won't deliver it to my house. Yea, propositioned several of the gringa paper carriers so they took me off the preferred customer list....so Phuck them and their rag. Now it's the PC for the news and a glance at CRT. Hmmmm....I'm amused at some of these newbie reports. Interesting that Hung-Lo (or high) is contemplating a move to the City of Cien. Handy is showing up for work and is in love, Paco....well, is still crazy Paco. Latinoheat is still in heat. V-Bob is slitting his wrists. T-man is living the Tale of Two Cities. Gringotim is searching for a life (I'm with ya Tim, I've been doing that for years too). ruffnutz found love and is retiring from big time banging...yea right. Charlie finally comes back to active posting....a welcomed veteran. What is it that stinks here? Right!! Everyone is getting mucho sexo except poor old Circus. Hell, who needs TV with this assembe of sports, mysteries, comedians and soap operas.

Someone once said that "getting old is a state of mind"....SHIT, it's a horrid state of fact. Sort of bad when old farts have to live vicariously through the exploits of younger mongers and their tales of four or five chicas a day with no sexual perversion left undone. Crap, I was just in SJ a month ago.....did I write a trip report....Hell no. Why bother boring the flock here with my numerous times of getting turned down by the chicas....even trannies shrugging me. Only hotel sex I had was playing with my self while listening to the sordid sounds of sex in rooms on the 3rd floor and that faded when my condom fell off and glued my toes to the tile floor in the hall. Yea, it was a dismal stay in SJ last trip. Idems wasn't any better. Roberto won't let me have any of the regular girls....says they will quit before having sexo with old Circus. All I get is that damn old cleaning woman he has coming in after closing.....strange seeing a woman cough up hair balls. Even called my amiga Rocio but to no avial. She came up and used two packs of handi wipes rubbing me down then had to leave unexpectedly.....said she was sick at her stomach or something. None of the CRT guys would let me be their wingman....met a non-member that asked me along but after visiting two gay bars I became suspicious and left.....geezzz. Al in all it was another dismal time....especially when playing solitaire on the PC at the Pres was the highlight of trip. I need to get a life.

Don't forget your sorry ass stealing El Ciego's cane and trying to exhange it for an umbrella....you'll be hearing from CRT's attorneys in the morning and soon enough feeling the sting of the lash.

Maybe you should change the "Send Circus to CR fund" to the "Can we possibly raise enough dinero to get Circus laid fund" I think I have a couple 100 colone coins laying around here to get the ball rolling... :)

....and I talked about slitting MY wrists just because some guys here want to get married to Latinas and have large families with them. It sounds like your last trip here to CR was a little better than your previous few. Hell man, you're on an upswing.

Circus;
I for one would be honored to be your wingman. I have a strong stomach and respect the elderly. Also, in another life I was a "boy scout" and am very good at helping old folks across the street.
Your Bro,
LVSteve

As I read your words Circus it is all but impossible to not reflect on the age gap that exists between our worlds. I grew up in the heart of generation x: a victim of the baby boomers. My childhood was hammered with choruses of 'personal responsibility' and it only makes me vomit to consider the same generation who preached that to me is the same who sued McDonalds because the coffee was too hot or the food made them fat. While I was being hounded with 'Just say No' campaigns the DC Mayor was being busted for crack. By the time I turned 21, I had enough cynicism to fill a nursing home.

Effective next month, I will be 33. An awkward age for a CRT member although I am delighted to sit and learn at the feet of the greatest mongers who have ever lived. If I have learned anything, it is that survival of the fittest prevails. I can only echo the lyrics of Twisted Sister that so eloquently protrude from my speakers right now:

IF YOUR FIRE IS FADED
AND YOU CAN'T FEEL IT NO MORE
IF YOU'RE TIRED AND OVERRATED
LET ME SHOW YOU TO THE DOOR
EXPECT NO SYMPATHY
THERE'S NONE TO BE HAD
OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE
THERE'S NO ROOM FOR THE WANNABEES.
THE HAS BEENS OR THE BAD

STAY HUNGRY
FEEL THE FIRE
STAY HUNGRY
DON'T EXPLODE
STAY HUNGRY
WITH DESIRE
STAY HUNGRY YOU'RE ALONE

*************************

I made my first and second trips to CR so I could kill demons that would not otherwise die. My 3rd trip is in December and since the demons are dead, this trip will be a victory dance. Life is very much a circus - bitch about the stench of the elephants if you like; it won't go away. I'm going straight for the cotton candy while I'm young enough to appreciate the taste. And, as LVSteve so well put, I'd love to play wingman.

Well Circus would be honored to be your wingman any day.I expect you have a lot more life left than you portray.I had the misfortune of not discovering this lifesyle until the age of 48 almost 2 years ago so I have lots of catching up.I plan to do as much catching up as I can while I still have the health to chase 2 or 3 chicas a day of course with some tourist stuff mixed in.Still hope to meet you soon to be your wingman.rbc100

Circus, you are second to none in your writing style... You are a true poet and artist with your words.

I hope this was mostly "Circus humor" on your thread... I'd hate to know that your last trip was anywhere near as dismal as it read on your post.

If there was more truth to your post than I tend to think, then I hope the future holds better times for you in CR.

Take care,

Ruffnutz

Circus,

I was going to tell you what "an old wise man told me once" but, now that I am getting up there in years, I will just tell you what "a wise man told me once."

He told me that each morning I should use whatever method is available to get out of bed, into the front yard to find the paper, quickly open it to the obituary section and, then, look for your name. If it's not there, you know that you are better off than all those people listed and you can go out and have a good day.

Just a thought!! :D :D

Have a Great Day,

Dave

Hey Circus, I didnt realize your last trip was so miserable...hell, I didnt even see you at the craps table. :? Of course I have had to give that game up since switching to the DARK side under your influence has put me under a black cloud playing EITHER side. I'm back at poker to try and rebuild my bankroll. :?

In some ways, dont you think it's refreshing that your day is no longer totally focused on taking care of the woodie you used to wake up with in the morning? And isnt it easier to concentrate on OTHER things after you've seen and done all types of pu*sy all over the world and there is very little that can now really surprise you? Now you can focus on your writing (which you are obviously gifted in), follow your philosophical fancy to the ends of your intellectual ability...and of course still have the strength to reach for that bottle when it's time to deaden the pain of reality that causes most philosophers to pursue suicide.

Most of all, you have memories and a past that no one else has...through your own eyes, the steps you have chosen to take, into good and horrific situations...all contributing to the uniqueness and good qualities those of us who know you have discovered in you...and which you so often try to shrugg off and minimize.

You ARE a brother Circus. Carry on my wayward Son...

Quote:
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high

Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know

On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say

No!

Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
The center lights around your vanity
But surely heaven waits for you

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry (don't you cry no more)

YO de YO Pops....you miserable SOB:

Damn, here you go again with your usual crap after sucking down vodka minies at that deplorable dump you live in. Why in the hell do you keep on infestating this forum with your idiotic posts. Give it up. We all know that you are a low life and cannot get a chica to talk to you much less lay against that bloated ugly body you have. You were good in your prime but hell, that was decades ago. Like Joluko said.....if you can't cut the mustard then dissapear and not take up space.

Mom and me just spent last weekend burning the photos of your ugly butt. She still prays for the day you go Tango Uniform....like DEAD so we can get the life insurance dinero. How about us changing the "Send Circus to CR" fund to "Get rid of Circus" fund. Another thing: You are so cheap that you don't even pay for a membership on CRT. Even guys here that have not been to CR coughed up the dinero to support this site. But noooooo, not my old man. You are such a pitiful person.

Other than that......have a good day if you can find one.
Your loving (yea right) son.
