Actually in that regard you are not so different from most of us. That is one of the things that makes the membership of this board different from many other boards (DD, before you jump on me too, I'm speaking generally here). The vast majority of guys here go well beyond the borders of the Gulch. Many of them become involved on a deeper level with many of the locals and really get to know what their life is like. These are the sorts of things that seperates a simple monger from what I like to call a whorticulturist. However, the wisest and most experienced of us know enough to realize that financial divide that you yourself acknowledged will always color the nature of our relationships with those locals.

I never described you as a "stupid green person". I really don't know whether you're stupid or not, but you ARE green. The good news is that unlike stupidity, being green and inexperienced is certainly something that can be cured. Hopefully, you'll learn by listening to your brothers here rather than by getting suckered and used by one these chicas.

BTW, as long as you have money to throw away, why don't you put a little of it where it will at least do you some good and purchase a VIP membership in this board that you've been lurking on and soaking info on up until now.

Before you send more money or fall more madly in love consider a few points.

200$ is a big phone bill. They shut off service pretty quick down here so I doubt she has a phone bill that big unless of course she is calling other gringos in the states.

Lawyers are a dime a dozen down here so do not be impressed with that. And if she was a lawyer she could probably find some work.

You said you met her in a casino where gringos hang out. Ever wonder what she was doing there? If she was poor and desparate for work what is she doing gambling in a casino?? She was there to latch on to gringos. She is probably there right now using the same tactic ...lines.

She was awfully quick to ask for money after you returned to the states. This is just the start of it. Next month it will be that her mother, k#ds, uncle is sick or the rent is due and she will be homeless or some other story .

Most likely you are not the first gringo she so quickly fell in love with and asked for money. Maybe she is working a few more each month.

I think Ticas are the most wonderful women in the world. There are alot of great ones out there. She is not one of them .

Can you really believe she is saving herself for you? Even if you divorce your wife and bring her here that could be more then a year. What do you have in common with her other then phucking?

I acually met my friend lawyer whom I call "novia" at the Presidente .She was playing Slot Machine next to me when I started a conversation with her, she was with two guys , one of them a man like in his 30's I would say , the next is a teen-ager maybe 15 or 16 , I asked her if they were with her? she said yes, the man in his 30's is her husband and the teen- ager is her cousin who is a drug addict whom she is trying to help.
So I asked her if it is ok if we can talk while her husband is with her? she said is perfectly alright and she slipped me her phone number. She said, "husband is abusive ,relation with him is shaky and not to worry about it." She also has a 4 year old whom she adores.
The following day when she came over to see me at my hotel , she showed up with an older friend of her and asked me if that's ok with me for them to be together? because she is her best friend and she feels comfortable being with her all the time, the older woman can be her mother or aunt , she must h've been in her 60's .

And then they became inseparable all this time accept when I want sexo , the older lady goes and plays some slots while i am making some good quality love to my novia lawyer.

Now my question is , is this a normal thing in Costa Rica , for a younger woman not letting go of her older friend even on dates? could it be my friend lawyer wanted to show me to her older friend seeking approval? I never said everything he said was the gospel. We all stretch the truth at times. Some of us more than others. However, I at least find the basics of what he has posted to be believable:

that he is one of the far too many mongers that go for bareback F/S,
that he is woefully misinformed when it comes to sexual health issues (anyone remember Chris2244 whose ignorance took him to the opposite extreme),
that he encountered women in CR who made him feel the GFE and later laid a sob story on him to play on his emotions with the hope of extracting money from him (who hasn't),
and that like many newbies (and even some vets) he fell prey to all of that.

I agree that it is hard to believe anyone could be so naive and gullible, even a first-time monger. There are many things to ponder here such as:

Was she really a lawyer or did she just say that to Chumpa (or is he just saying that to us)?
How many real hot young abogadas hang out playing the slots in the Gulch with their "husband" waiting to get picked up by older Gringos? Unh, unh PRO PRO PRO
Was she really a non-pro or was she just setting him up and working some angle?
Was this one of the gals Chumpa went bareback with (he has other things to worry about besides STD's, which could be her angle)?
Was she really a non-pro or has Chumpa already spent more money on her than he cares to admit?
Did Chumpa really get some "good quality loving" or just the vague promise of it?
If he did get some action, did she really never ask for money and if so was that only because Chumpa had already freely offered it?
Was her husband really present when they met or was it her pimp or boyfriend?
And was she really sneaking around behind his back or did she really have his tacit approval and was the lazy good-for-nothing sucker just taking a backseat and awaiting his cut at the end of day?
How many non-pros, or pros for that matter, bring a chaperone along on a date and then go off and have sex anyway?
IF Chumpa is more or less telling the truth AS HE BELIEVES IT, then this chica has gotten him to swallow quite a load of BS. What else has she lied to him about and what other possible angle could she have except to con him?

I think you can guess what my answers to these questions would be. I could go on, but you get the idea and I'm sure could come up with many more on your own.
