This year has had a large amout of rain and I've had enough. I'm sure I won't get any sympathy from any of you that live in the States, but I thought I would say it anyways.

Hey VB,

I hear you, my friend. You know how much I hated that constant phuckin' rain. It was one of the main reasons I left San José.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the summer weather in Tucson. It's pretty hot but the climate is so dry that I don't find it to be that uncomfortable. And, starting this month we'll have eight months of almost perfect weather.

Of course you're probably still getting laid twice a day. That's a helluva lot more than I can say. Count your blessings.

I read reports of terrible conditions on the pacific coast from the recent hurricane. did the hurricane also strike the central valley/san jose area?

V-Bob: Poor guy living in that rain soaked city with wet women.

Hey Mexpat (you wil always be Mexpat to me) where's my free autographed copy of your book? Let's see if I can get you out of Tucson for a visit. Laura and Rocio really miss you. They ask about you all the time. OK so when shall we expect you?

VegasBob and LVsteve I hope to see you two at the little CRT get together at the Sportsman lodge 10-22-05. 2 to 5pm. There is free Mexican food and some CRT guys coming. The Bar and resturant will be open. They have TV's with Sports stuff. Maybe a Va. Tech game. Also you can bring your guess. There is even going to be a Gringo Virgin.

Hey VB...Tell Laura and Rocio I'll be down if they'll give me a freebie for old times sake. Yeah, right! Actually I'm going to stick around here until my grandson is born in December and then I may do some traveling. SJ will certainly be on my itinerary when I do get moving again. Check you PM's about the book.

LV Steve....I'm glad to see from your occasional posts that you're still happy in SJ. There are things about Costa Rica that I do miss but overall I don't think I would want to live there again. But, who knows? Things change.

Stay dry you guys,

Chuck (ex-mexpat)

Hazel,

Looking out my window, there is actually about 6 inches of snow on the ground right now. But, I don't mind because hockey season is back!!!

I read from a web site somewhere, maybe from the CR weather bureau prognosticos that they were predicting an early summer this year. I may be down then, though I can't be sure yet.
