Delta is $477.15 RT out of Atlanta to SJO. This is a $300 savings.

Checked fare is good at least thru February 2006. I am sure holidays are blacked out. Check anyway.

Act today. This will not last. Use a credit card to protect yourself in case they go belly up.

Check their website for fares out of your city.

Bulletin: Continental not to be outdone has a sale at $390 from ATL, too.
Check them out of your city.

Strange.......I checked and it's about $430.00 RT including tax and fees out of Washington/Dulles and it stops in Atlanta.

Ace,
Outstanding info.
I just rebooked my flight and put my 35,000 Skymiles back into my account.

Even with the $50 restock charge I still saved $250 off the fare listed yesterday.

I'll pick up an additional 5200 Skymiles and I even kept the same seats.

Those miles, plus what I had left over, can now be used for an additional trip to SJO or Colombia or even Thailand next year.

I booked the trip at the sale fare for Feb 9 - 14.

Two or four other friends from ATL are going.

One to see his special chica in October. He tries to go every month and talks to her every day.
Note to self: I think I hear distant wedding bells.

Not a bad idea Wit.
I may call and do the same thing, this might only be a weekend sale. I'm looking at 433.15 from here, :) best fare in quite a while...
Thanks Ace!

How did you hear about this deal.. or how do you all hear about these deals? For instance, I went to orbitz.com and typed in your dates and some dates in the future but got prices in the $400s and up even on AA.

TF, you can just sign up at your fav. airline's website to recieve email notices of specials.
And/or do like most of us CR addicts and check sites frequently like this one - http://search.travel.yahoo.com/bin/sear ... dc=SJO&s=p
There's a thread with several links like this, but I can't find it...
here's a cool site someone posted here for choosing your seat, not to be confused with picking your seat- http://seatguru.com/

Usually they only have a specific # of low fare seats and when there gone there gone.
