I can relate GMan I had a semi-blind date (off of an internet dating site 2 years ago) and I got there before her, got us a two place table in the corner with those little bench stools. She comes in and was so big the stools were groaning. I tried to be the gentleman but the waitress saw the problem and found us a booth lol!

Actually, all this discussion of gringas got me wondering if I should reconsider the whole question. So yesterday I finally got around to checking out this Yahoo Personals thing. I made a little profile for myself and then started searching around my area around New York to see what kinds of girls were signing up there.

I was pretty well certain I was only finding the usual circus of freaks I expected to find, nothing worth being startled by a boiled rabbit in your kitchen over. Then, just for kicks, I changed my search area to Denver. Then to Miami. My God. Now I know why I can't get a decent looking girl to look at me here. I live in the center of the Nexus of Ugly.

I can't believe how many hot girls are posting personals out there (everywhere but here, seems).

I wish one of you guys in Miami would do a search for girls 21 and over, and find out if any of these models are looking for ugly middle age guys with tight wallets. (could be just my jeans are tight from all the cialis I took last month down in CR)

You probably just glanced at the tip of the iceberg on the personals. I have a bit of experience in this area. There are a number of sites but probably the best are Love AOL and yahoo personals. Hell, just do a simple search for women 30 to 40 yrs old within 100 miles of West Palm Beach or LA, california and you come up with over a 1,000 photos and believe me there are numerous 10's even in that age group. As for the 21 yr olds, they are not looking for middle age guys with tight wallets. I have found the friendlist and more responsive in the carolinas, mid western states and eastern countries.

The problem is many have that US attitude or they want a hubby or sugar daddy. Also, there are a number of fake personals where they use a different photo and identity. Also, several women I contacted turned out to be men.........Yeah, old circus' luck. Shit, by the time you fly to meet one, wine and dine and still get no sex.......would have been cheaper to return to CR. I think personals only work somewhat if the woman is within 25 miles of your home...easy drive. This summer I met several women off the personals......all but one were YUCK Ugly. I probably deserve it since I had used Dino's and Dallasman's photos in my personals. Should have known.

WOw...what a thread to come back to after being in gringaland these past 2+weeks! I think I'll take partial credit for all this ranting since it started with a reference to my "back in Gringaland" post the first days back in FLA.

Just as a followup on this fine thread, I am SOOO thrilled to be back in CR and with my sweet Colombiana. I have never seen SOOO many overwieght white women in one short period of time. They all MUST be sex and attention starved...but I think they have decided to be happy with their jobs, a new SUV every couple years and the latest reruns of Seinfeld. THe most attractive women I saw there were two cousins of mine...both in their 30s and career oriented. Even these women I care about are totally neurotic about relationships and men. The checklists are just too big to overcome I think...and they are NOT thinking about being the supportive caring lady of the house. After all, they already have their OWN houses. So again I reiterate like many of you have here...once you have spent much time at all in this latin culture with its women...you just will be hard pressed to justify dating american women. And most american women will hate you for that;).

While I could ad many experiences, I will spare you all right now...and just go pack for my next 3 days bringing in the New Year at Jaco Beach. YAHOO!!!

Heck I'm making my first trip to CR the end of Jan. (thanks to this great board) and I can tell ya truthfully I am totally fried on American woman. Seems like the only time they can be nice is when they want something. Outside of that they generally are self absorbed, greedy, selfish, controling, masters of men. Hope that Latin Ladies can restore some faith in women kind in this ol gurl chaser.
Gotta tell you all that this is truely a wonderful board and a real pleasure of a place to visit. Thanks for all the great info and stories. Finaly got the divorce done about six months ago (not a bad thing) and finaly got laid off my job last week (not a bad thing either, nothing worse than working for a crooked lawyer). Figure it's a darn good time to do something worth while with my time... like have a little fun.

To get laid in the US, you must go out drinking and spend at least 50 for who knwos what and no gurantees or you need to go on 3-4 dates to get in her pants. Plus there is emotions, ex bf and gf and wives and husbands that get in way. With all the unknowns of how long it will take to get laid with a civlian or a drunk at a bar its much easier to pay for it, and like you say, save your $'s and head to San Jose where you know yoru every wish will be fufilled.
