I will stay with my previous posts regarding my experiences with Brits; and as I stated, my observations with British behavior was in London and mostly other Western European cities, and I was not favorably impressed with the U.K. people that I was around. Unless I have to return to London on business, there would be no way that I would spend any of my own free time there. I have read other reponses to this post that indicated that people ouside of London are somewhat different. I really don't care one way or another.

Anyway, I stated my opinions; and each one of us has our own.

You are right on the money my friend. This kind of behavior gives us all a black eye. Personally, because most Costa Ricans are, in fact, very happy / friendly people, I find it very easy to reciprocate with kind words and actions. And Vegas Bob is right......SCHMUCK is definitely too kind.

I agree, I just back today got myself and I was talking to a nice waitress yesterday at the el presidente and suddenly three Americans guys was given a waitress a hard time.. she said to me you can always tell they are Americans - "they are LOCO".
